Alessandro Pierozzi & JØAK
Interview

Nagamag:
Which are the genres that describe your music style better?

Alessandro Pierozzi & JØAK:
Alessandro’s answer: As a music producer, I always try to blend organic and electronic sounds, always trying to combine the analog and virtual worlds of music. If I define this with genres, those probably would be in the line of Melodic House/Techno, Progressive, and Deep house, but always open to experimenting.
JØAK’s answer: It depends on the mood or what I want to transmit, in this released song called ”alive” contains a lot of house & progressive roots with a powerful melodic hymn to wrap the mind in a place that we want to enjoy and be honest with our thoughts with the message of the song.

Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?

Alessandro Pierozzi & JØAK:
Alessandro’s answer: I’ve been making music for the past decade. As long as I can remember, I have always been in love with creating new things, and with music was love at first sight. I’ve been learning as I go, always trying to work with people who can help me grow as an artist, as well as a person. It all started back in 2014 with Kelders, in which we had a long run together, and collected beautiful song creations and forever-lasting memories. This year I decided to launch my personal project, and I am more motivated than ever, always giving it all of my energy to achieve as much as possible, and complete my goals as a music producer/Dj.
JØAK’s answer: My career has been a whole new adventure in the last 15 years working on my music. I have experienced many genres but in the last years I have been progressing from doing EDM to just only make music, I don’t want to pigeonhole myself into only one genre. I just want to make what I feel in the moment and enjoy the ride being sincere with my future audience.

Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?

Alessandro Pierozzi & JØAK:
Alessandro’s answer: One of my best friends ever, back in 2013 showed me a track by Deadmau5, and I completely fell in love at that exact moment. Ever since that year, I’ve been either behind the decks or at my home studio trying to create as much music as I can.
JØAK’s answer: I don’t remember exactly the moment but every day I fall a little more in love with music, and that impulses me to keep creating new pieces all the time.

Nagamag:
Many artists listen to genres that they are not producing music for. Which track is your favorite that is NOT similar to yours?

Alessandro Pierozzi & JØAK:
Mac Miller Good News

Nagamag:
Of Course Nagamag would love to listen also which is the track from a similar artist you admire?

Nagamag:
Which are the genres that describe your music style better?

Anton Kling:
Melodic, Organic, Progressive, Minimal with a lofi touch

Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?

Anton Kling:
I started in a music program called E-jay when I was 8 years old, then when I was 12 I started making music in fl-studio and when I was 16 I started in Ableton live where I create music these days. I have been making music since I was very young but I started to take it more seriously in the last 6 years.

Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?

Anton Kling:
I don't remember the first connection with music because there has always been music played at my house when I was young. I remember when my dad showed me Kraftwerk for the first time and I was in awe. But the biggest thing has to be when I discovered Daft Punk at a very you age. I sat on our computer in the early days of the internet and found their music and that just changed everything. I just couldn't stop listening to them, all they did was so new and interesting for my ears. I guess that was when I truly fell in love with electronic music.

Nagamag:
Many artists listen to genres that they are not producing music for. Which track is your favorite that is NOT similar to yours?

Red Hot Chilipeppers "Californication"

Doppe & Kokke Interview on Nagamag

.

Nagamag:
Which are the genres that describe your music style better?

Doppe & Kokke:
We are definitely in the area of house music, in particular tropical house, and EDM. But we don't want to limit ourselves. We have a couple of chillstep tracks on the way also. We love a good melody that you can go and whistle on for a long time after hearing the track.

Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?

Doppe & Kokke:
We have always been interested in music but never taken the step to produce our own. Our original careers are in a very different area. At least once per year we go on a road trip around Europe and we prepare for weeks before to have the right playlists to set the mood in the car. The last year we have not been able to go on a trip, but we missed it and the good music, so we decided it was time to produce some of our own beats that we can listen to when the lockdown is over.

Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?

Doppe & Kokke:
The last years from maybe where Avicii, Kygo and similar DJs started to breakthrough I think we found a genre that was more appealing for both of us. We have always liked electronic music, but adding a great singer and making awesome melodies talks to us.

Nagamag:
What is your next project?

Doppe & Kokke:
We have a few new tracks in the making, but we are not stressing them. Without revealing too much one of them we are especially fond of which is a kind of mix of tropical house and RNB beats. We are currently working with a great singer and when she is ready I believe we have the next hit song ready.

Nagamag:
Many artists listen to genres that they are not producing music for. Which track is your favorite that is NOT similar to yours?

Doppe & Kokke:
Doppe: Jan Hammer Kokke: Gary Moore Doppe: "Miami Vice Theme" Kokke: "The Loner"

TripL Interview on Nagamag

Categories: Features, House Features, House Interviews, Interviews, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , , , , |

Nagamag:
What are the genres that describe better your music style?

TripL:
While we've been known a lot for our progressive house in the past, this year we've decided to explore different genres and been switching it up a bit with classic piano chords in the break and a future house style Hexagon drop in both our Dua Lipa Remix and Never Gonna Give You Up to explore new horizons, which is something which we gonna keep pushing in the near future.

Nagamag:
Few words about your musical background and career?

TripL:
We each had different musical background, Lior played the piano and listened to a wide range of music from an early age. He has
been DJing and producing music from the age of 15. while finishing “Muzik” college school as an honor student he was releasing a few “white label” remixes that got supported by big names like: Fedde La Grand, Dave Spoon, Hard Rock Sofa and many more. While Omri started his career when he was only 14 years old. An autodidact and a perfectionist
producer/mixing/mastering with sharp senses for sound design. Working as a music producer at “Mantra Music Productions” for the last 10 years with more than 500 remixes and original productions. His first release in the electronic scene happened way back in his youth, signing tracks at the German record label “Platten Bank” supported by Sasha and
John Digweed.

Nagamag:
Do you remember your first connection of love to music that was the right impact to be a music artist now?

TripL:
We actually started listening to club trance as kids. The good old Magic Sunrise compilations by Tiësto. Then we moved towards the house scene including legends like Axwell, Bob Sinclar and more. These days we're trying to explore more genres and decades of music. Gotta say that we're huge fans of the original disco and funk scene of the 70s! Pure music.

Nagamag:
How would you describe your latest release "Get On Down"?

TripL:
‘Get On Down’ invites you to adhere to the dancefloor-ready release’s mantra title from the jump-off, distorted house synths ushering in a deep, reverbed vocal that projects forth the hands-in-the-air, slinking house vibe before it’s even out of the gate – make no mistake these boys didn’t come to play. Fortifying their “Get On Down” topline that serves as the axis of the track for attitude-driven snaps of delivery and uplifting, vigorous energy to overtake like a tsunami.

Nagamag:
Can you please tell us what you guys been up to in recent times, how were you affected by the pandemic?

TripL:
We have been pretty busy actually, we were invited to take over guestmixes for a lot of renowned DJs such as Tigerlily and more. Still dealing with pandemic wasn’t easy and have lead to a lot of tours and festivals being cancelled, there was one in march that was affected the most. We were meant to play in front of 60,000 people known for being one of the biggest parties in the Middle East where we planned on premiering our new local hit, we made up for that with a livestreams full of IDs and Festival bangers. Despite all of that it didn’t prevent us from using the lockdown for the best and spend more time in the studio making a lot new music which “Get On Down” is just the tip of what’s yet to come. In addition we've released a Local pop hit called “Tamid Kadima” meaning always moving forward in Hebrew which talks about positivity and fit the current Covid-19 situation perfectly, the song received a lot of success with over million plays within the first two weeks, live morning shows performances and lots radio supports.

Nagamag:
Most artists have a favorite song from a different music genre than the one they are producing music for... Which is yours?

TripL:
Diplo & SIDEPIECE "On My Mind"

Nagamag:
Of Course Nagamag would love to listen also which track from a similar artist you admire?

TripL:
DJ Kuba & Neitan "Feel The Vibe (Keanu Silva Remix)"
