Dance floor-scorching duo Alligatorz are teasing their debut Bang Bang EP with a bombastic new single. Featuring the powerful punchlines and flow of Mr. J Medeiros, “Bubbly” (out March 3 in advance of the EP’s release on March 11) finds forward-thinking reggaeton infused with classic violin touches. The release comes alongside a colorful music video with endless dancing and neon-inflected animations.

Inspired by a trip to Rio de Janeiro, DJ Greem (Hocus Pocus, C2C) and Røn Puma (Caravan Palace) were moved to mix the rich sounds of Latin American culture with diverse electronic and hip-hop influences. After releasing a string of songs and mixtapes while performing from everywhere from Argentina to Colombia, they decided to assemble their eclectic first EP as Alligatorz. The result is a vibrant musical adventure where samba, reggaeton, and baile funk intermix with French electronic production and animated hip-hop vocals, all making for an animated, outstanding approach stretching into 2022 and beyond.
