The fresh and exuberant rumble of “Go Go Go”, for which Olicía have collaborated with the renowned French harpist and songwriter Laura Perrudin, celebrates femininity and female self-determination from the very personal perspective of its creators. Perrudin contributed percussive structures and sounds on her unique electronic chromatic harp. It’s the final single before Olicía’s adventurous double album “Liquid Lines” arrives on Oct 1 2021. It comes with an elaborate video, shot in Southern Germany, that features the two band members amidst a large and diverse group of the most important and inspirational women in their lives.

The song „The Kid“ is the third video release from the current studio album “ You Can Call Me LOVE“.
„The Kid“ tells the story of a child caught in an undefined pain. We all have this child inside us. From a young age, we unconsciously adopt the belief patterns and thought patterns of family and society and thus lose contact with ourselves. If this early separation from our true personality core is not dissolved, we often take the wrong paths later in life. We stumble and feel like a lone wolf wandering in the depths of the woods, longing for the moon and an unknown home.
The video for the song shows the initially futile search for one’s own identity and the long road back to freedom.

Creating the music video for “Waiting” was a wonderful journey. The visual concept for the video was inspired by the different parts of the psyche and connecting through the collective unconscious. Creating art that has meaning is crucial to me. I packed my video with symbolism and was very intentional about every creative decision. Instead of unpacking the many personal meanings embedded into the imagery, I’m much more interested in hearing your own interpretation. The choreography you see is actually a very poetic translation of my lyrics into American Sign Language. Special thanks to Nicole Bajorek for creating that element of the video.
