“Meet “Solon” via his fascinating creation “Inside Out”. A unique mix of Trance melodies from another dimension is waiting you to press the play button and start a trip to the stars. Emotional singing and crystal sound patterns from a realy talented artist.”

-Nagamag.com

SOLON is the new kid in town. He just started producing a couple of months ago and within a short time he has releases confirmed under different aliases on several a-list labels.

He chooses to hide behind his modest hoody in order to direct all the attention to his music, where he expresses emotions and feelings that enable enjoying the present moment.

He started taking classical piano lessons as a young child and developed his love for music while listening to radio programs every night before bed.

Being influenced by techno and house pioneers, he decided to add a melodic touch to strong bass lines.

His tracks are powerful and inventive and have a unique capacity to fuel both intimate dance floors and big clubs with energy and drive.

Fable – Womb (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Electronica, Electronica Features, Features, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Thoroughly absorbing from the beginning to the end, Fable entrances the listener with her bewitching vocals & spellbinding melodies in her new minimal dub-wise single. Womb examines the ebb & flow of the cycles of life with a pulsating beat, epic chorus & poignant lyrics. ”

-Nagamag.com

Brighton singer-songwriter Fable today unveils her brand new single ‘Womb’, out now via Naim Records. The track is the latest offering from her forthcoming debut album and follows in the wake of the trip hop and neo soul blending ‘Orbiting’, which drew praise from the likes of NME, 6Music, CLASH and more.

With its stripped-back dubwise beat and spectral sonics, ‘Womb’ ebbs and flows like the cycles of life it discusses, building from a beguiling verse into a throbbing chorus and a bridge that swarms with headbanging dread. “'Womb' talks about cycles of emotional states, the repetitive highs and lows that I experience throughout the month, and in the end finding the strength to just push forwards with things. The seasons of the female body are often not acknowledged in the structure of our lives and society lacks respect for the trials and tribulations of womanhood,” Fable explains.

“Its meaning is not limited to the Lunar cycles of the female body - we all experience flux - we're not the same molecules we were 7 years ago, and it's about finding a way to ride the waves of constant change. The track was influenced by my love of Dub and sound system culture; my Mum would play Linton Kwesi Johnson through her bump when she was pregnant with me and it's been a comfort ever since,” she adds.

Having built up a reputation as one of the UK's most promising new artists, being lauded by the likes of The Guardian, Mixmag, Q and Rolling Stone, collaborating with Orbital and playing at Glastonbury, the tragic loss of a close friend and resultant burnout and depression led to Fable taking time out from her music career in 2016 to protect her mental health. Four years later, and now an ambassador for mental health charity My Black Dog, Fable is relaunching her sound to the world, with previous single ‘Orbiting’ unveiled in February. Newly-signed to Naim Records, the label wing of the award-winning premium audio brand, she has recorded a debut album of genre-fluid, searingly honest and darkly beautiful music that spans from urgent post punk to introspective electronica, whilst posing questions that are both timely and personal, yet timeless.

“In fact, this is pure Drum & Bass - viscous, thick, sometimes wistful and pathetic. It's amazing how everything sounds organically and holistically. Its melodic and expressive vocals can reach your inner world, in a way which is impossible to describe in words.”

“По сути, это чистый Drum & Bass – такой же вязкий, густой, местами задумчивый и патетичный. Удивительно, как всё звучит органично и целостно. Мелодичный и экспрессивный вокал погружает и передаёт тот внутренний мир, который невозможно описать словами.”

-Nagamag.com

Anymore is a dark, menacing liquid drum and bass track, about a girl seeing the light at the end of the tunnel after a toxic relationship, produced by me and sung by my mate Neshy.

Davron Mananov – Soul Nexus (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Electronica, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , |

“"Soul Nexus" is out to shake your personal dancefloor and nothing can stop this from happening! Melodic Techno track with well-built structure and big variety of waves that keep you there until the last second. "Davron Mananov" surely knows how to entertain his listeners.”

-Nagamag.com

As an artist, Mananov is driven to create the kind of music that he loves, music that instills deep emotion in its listener. His songs are both spiritual and soulful, and the intent is to produce music that is both emotive and driving - the kind that would make a perfect accompaniment for a reflective late night drive. His SRNDR debut, 'Soul Nexus', is a prime example of his style. Featuring a dynamic arrangement that takes the listener through the highest of peaks and most contemplative of troughs, the track showcases Mananov's trance roots, with lush, ethereal pads, beautifully melodic keys and uplifting synth arpeggiators, all floating above a hard-hitting, driving rhythm section. In typically dichotomous fashion, 'Soul Nexus' is definitely a track that will induce both euphoria and melancholy.

Adibanti – You (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Electronica, The Latest|Tags: , , , , , |

“Adibanti delivers your favourite drum & bass sound with fast bpm ideal for energy restoration. In this single he has geniusly added some soft lyrics to slow down speed. Prototypic work with personal touch just for "You"!”

-Nagamag.com

London born producer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Adibanti (aka Rory J Nelson) is set to release his first single of 2021 with the deconstructed Drum & Bass meets soul ballad entitled “You”. The forward-thinking single showcases Adibanti’s penchant for precise genre-bending and utilizes his smooth vocals over the layered & scattered percussion to confess his devotion to an anonymous paramour.

https://linktr.ee/adibanti

“As I am a massive DnB lover, I am really excited to release a tune that shows this. I listen to so much music and write in so many different styles that it doesn’t make sense for me to stick to a single genre. ‘You’ is an incredibly emotional tune for me and isn’t what you would traditionally call Drum & Bass but in the not so distant future I have some proper Liquid to release that I am even more excited about!” - Adibanti

Serge Bulat, Dai Sekiguchi – Possible Plausible Reversible (Spotify)

“Minimalistic harmony, proportionate to the pulse of the time. A world in which an otherworldly landscape and a detached everyday life wander. It attracts your attention and grants the opportunity to embrace the immensity.”

“Минималистичная гармония, соразмерная с пульсом времени. Мир, в котором блуждает потусторонний ландшафт и отрешённая обыденность. Приковывает к себе ваше внимание и дарует возможность объять необъятное.”

The single 'Possible Plausible Reversible' (feat. Dai Sekiguchi) from the upcoming album 'Similarities Between Fish And A Chair'

Serge Bulat announces the new album 'Similarities Between Fish And A Chair'.

Moldovan-American artist Serge Bulat returns with a new record, international collaborations, and a psychological audiovisual installation.

'Similarities Between Fish And A Chair' follows the 2020 release 'Wurmenai', the genre-bending concept album with the video game companion 'Wurroom'.

The new album is a direct continuation to 'Wurmenai', a multi-cultural sonic experience featuring notable collaborators from Katie Buckley, Nino Errera, Pavel Vit, to Dai Seikiguchi, OYME, and Hirokazu Ishida. The artists from ten countries in total have participated in the project.

'Similarities Between Fish And A Chair', takes Bulat's ambition further into experimentation, collaborations, and format challenging; the artist fuses genres, cultures, and media to achieve an eclectic and non-conformist body of work.

One of such experiments is the project 'Inkblot': Bulat's take on the standard psychological test expanded by an addition of sense - hearing. 'Inkblot' has been presented at selected festivals around the world and aimed to connect previous and upcoming albums.

According to Bulat, "...the new work deals with identity, normality, and personality; it questions reality and perception as well as imagines future".

The lead single 'Sanity Matra' features Icelandic resident, performing artist Katie Buckley with which Bulat collaborated remotely during the lockdown.

Five years in making, the project presents instrumentalists from around the world, lyrics in Romanian, Japanese, English, and indigenous Erzya, field recording taken in four countries, sound design, and NASA samples.

Serge Bulat, a multi-disciplinary artist, born in the Moldovan-Ukrainian border town under the USSR, immigrated to the USA in 2009, to pursue a career in music. Known in the electronic and avant-garde music circles for the IMA-winning LP 'Queuelbum'; the audio/visual installations 'Third World Walker'; and the experimental video game 'Wurroom'. Billed as an album in the video game format, 'Wurroom' has been exclusively designed to interact with sound. Developed in tandem with Russia's Michael Rfdshir, the game presents an immersive experience of a surreal utopia, taking the form of an exploration quest.

'Similarities Between Fish And A Chair' will be released on April 30th, 2021.

Simon Field – Don’t Wanna Go [Lyric Video] (Video)

Categories: Electronica, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , , |

“It’s not trance, but it is euphoric and has a four to the floor kick pattern. Without doubt, ‘Don’t Wanna Go’ is destined to fill dance floors in clubs everywhere. This superbly mastered track by the celebrated Norwegian producer Simon Field, is focused on not wanting someone you care about to leave after a happy time spent together. The smooth male vocal reflects this emotion, as does the happy/sad, catchy melody. An Ibiza playlist track for sure.”

-Nagamag.com

Leading independent UK label Perfect Havoc welcomes back Norwegian veteran DJ and producer Simon Field with his new single ‘Don’t Wanna Go’ out 16th April. Following up on ‘So Cold’ with Adam Griffin and Clare Sophia released earlier this year, this latest single is the perfect ‘dream yourself back to the dancefloor’ track with emotive vocals and stunning synth work synonymous in all Field’s deep house productions. With over 80 million streams globally and as a Spotify curator with more than 400K fans following his Ibiza Deep House playlist, Simon Field bounces out of lockdown with an abundance of creativity in this latest outing.

Stream it now via all platforms: https://perfecthavoc.lnk.to/dontwannago

An awarded producer and songwriter, Field has a distinct sound produced entirely through analogue gear from his studio in Oslo. His highlight collabs and releases on Perfect Havoc include ‘Is It Real?’ with Tobtok & Oliver Nelson feat. Salena Mastronnani (6 million streams) and ‘Shake The Tree’ (14 million streams), while his official remixes include such high profile names as Nina Simone and Kelis.

Champions of Field’s sound span DJ A-listers Tiësto, Hardwell, Lost Frequencies, David Guetta, Ridney and Benny Benassi, and tastemakers on the airwaves where he receives regular spins on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM from Scott Mills, Majestic, Joel Corry, and Mistajam, as well as in his homeland in Norway on Kiss and NRJ.

From the clubs to the TV and the Big Screen, Field’s music has been featured in US TV series, Californication and Ugly Betty, in the Academy Award nominated film, Passengers, and in the latest Netflix series Elite, which saw the track chart on Shazam and iTunes and in multiple countries including Spain, Mexico, Germany and many more.

Field is onto another winner with this latest single. ‘Don’t Wanna Go’ kicks off with a melancholic vocal as the male voice sings about not wanting to be alone, yet there’s an overtone of optimism as melodic synths and rolling drums push the track onwards to a place of euphoria. It’s hard to predict what dancefloors will sound like when clubs open up again in hot spots like Ibiza and LA, but with the clean production of Field at work on this release and its feeling of hopefulness, expect this to be soundtracking many a dancefloor, soon.

On the inspiration behind the track, Simon Field said, “Don’t Wanna Go expresses the dark emotion of loneliness that you get following an encounter of happiness or from departing with someone that matters in your life. It’s about that feeling of not wanting to let go of someone and yearning for them to stay another night.”

‘Don’t Wanna Go’ is another strong addition to the Perfect Havoc catalogue from its roster that also includes the double platinum selling Swedish producer Tobtok, Mahalo, Karen Harding, Kokiri and Parx. The label and management agency has a fast-rising status underlined by earning five UK Top 10s and platinum certified records, including Joel Corry & MNEK ‘Head & Heart’ (No.1), Joel Corry, RAYE and David Guetta ‘Bed’ (No.6) and a top 20 hit with PS1 ft Alex Hosking ‘Fake Friends’ (No.19). With an acute ear for both underground and mainstream hits, Perfect Havoc has licensed cool house cuts to Toolroom Records and Kitsune, and to majors including Atlantic and Columbia. The future is very bright for this forward thinking label.
