Initial Eyes – Awakening – Extended Mix

Initial Eyes has released yet another 2 tracks titled ‘Awakening’ and ‘The Infinite Climb’ which explore the realms of progressive house and make for truly joyful listening. ‘Awakening’ is deep, intriguing and melodic with a low-level energy that’s calming yet groovy. The track has been a sort of work in progress for Initial Eyes as he delves into crafting music specifically for opening up sets. ‘Awakening’ has already been gaining the attention of Initial Eyes’ fans after teasing the track on his Spring 2020 mix.
The 2nd track on this EP is ‘The Infinite Climb’. Creativity seeks through the speaks with this track as the bright melody paired with the swarming deep synths make for a steady groove. Pretty arps are a key feature of the tune and help to build the track to reach its very peak. The key concept behind this song is that creativity transcends into life in general whether that be mentally, spiritually or emotionally. It also highlights how life reflection is an important element of life.
Initial Eyes has consistently been producing exquisite conceptual progressive and deep house tracks including ‘When It All Ends’ and ‘Riddle Of The Sphinx’ whilst grabbing the attention of fans and industry icons alike. Initial Eyes has proven his talent once again with this EP.

First announced back in December of last year, the wait is finally over as Wæde Wätts’s debut album ‘Avenoir’ is out now. Few words about Happy Daggers:
Happy Daggers are a Leeds based quintet, producing funky music described as "banging" by BBC 6 Music's very own Craig Charles.
The band have previously graced the stages of Hyde Park’s British Summer Time, Reading and Leeds, Bingley Music Live, Live at Leeds, Beat-Herder, Beacons, Long Division and others. As a well established band on the Leeds (and Yorkshire) music scene, Happy Daggers have sold out headline gigs as well as supporting the likes
of Public Service Broadcasting, The Milk, Saint Motel, Red Rum Club, Pretty Vicious, Middleman, and Fold.

Australian producer, singer and songwriter Harry Nathan is back with a saucy late-night groover titled ‘Harriet Tubman?’, featuring Harry’s across the hall neighbour, Hollywood actor Ryan Lee (known for his roles in Goosebumps, Super 8, This is 40)
Harry explains below there’s a goofy and unexpected story around the making of ‘Harriet Tubman?’
“Ryan walks in to my studio one day and starts talking into the mic, not realising I was recording. The first part of this recording ended up in the outro of ‘Fool For Your Love’, from my first EP. It landed perfectly in that spot. “You” continued talking, as if hosting a fictional radio show, when an imaginary Harriet Tubman decided to join us. I genuinely had no idea who Harriet Tubman was, asking ‘Who’s Harry Tubman?’ - to which Ryan replied ‘Underground Railroad Queen’.
My close childhood friend Tass Diakos was in L.A visiting from Sydney, and suggested we turn it into a house vibe. An hour later we were all in our pyjamas sitting on Ryan’s living room floor, building the song on my laptop. Then we finished the production in my studio with my boy Preston (Walker). It fell together so quickly and easily.” – Harry Nathan

Jacob Colon is back after the success of his last release ‘Work’ with another brand-new club ready tune this time titled ‘Bliss’. Jacob gets straight to the point from the very first beat incorporating funky afro beats with tribal drums along with a fun steel drum sounding melody that’s present throughout the track that gets you up moving.

Every single song offers something fresh, each with intricate melodies and downright infectious grooves. The Lockdown EP is exceptional work from Klipr and is just what we all need right now. His previous releases have been more on the progressive or electropop vibe but has clearly surpassed himself with this new House sound.
The New Delhi based artist makes music that captures the energy and excitement you would expect to feel at a festival (which is definitely something the world needs right now). Klipr has used both his international and domestic experiences of the electronic music scene as a flagstone in his productions and uses his knowledge to transcend into a variety of genres.

BOBBY SHANN, Blas Cordero – Double Vision (Spotify)
Bobby Shann and Blas Cordero have joined forces meaning that double trouble are bringing ‘Double Vision’. This Tech-House track has a deep bassy groove that instantly draws you in and transports you to the dancefloor. The production on this release is crisp and precise and made for the ravers as you can’t help but dance along.
The insatiable groove is a key staple in ‘Double Vision’ which keeps it driving with force whilst different elements come in and out maintaining the fresh feel. Including a choppy initial drop paired with a sultry static vocal entices you in. The drama only builds as the mid-section becomes spacey with hints of a drop that certainly does not disappoint
