Individualist is an Afro-acoustic, deep house production duo based in Halle (Saale), Germany. Comprising Wayne from South Africa and Rob from Canada, the duo met by chance in front of the latter’s studio and decided to make electronic music together, before evolving into a proper live group and production duo. Their music is characterised by colourful, swinging house beats with deep roaring basses, earthy acoustic instruments and glitchy sonic landscapes - a culmination of Wayne’s deep roots in South African house music and Rob’s background in music studies and passion for raw analogue sounds. The beats and bass are created on an analog synth, while the guitars, keys, harmonica and vocals are recorded live, resulting in raw and honest house music with a decidedly indie aesthetic and a sound that is uniquely their own. Prolific producers, the duo have released dozens of tracks on various labels in Germany, England, Singapore, Dubai, Switzerland and the USA, including remixes from the likes of FKA Mash, ChronicalDeep, Gumz and Tahir Jones.

Spring is here and we are happy to present to you a new EP courtesy from Yöurr, producer and DJ based in Hungary, with two original tracks: "New Transitions" and "Broken Barriers". And that's not all, in this pack we also included a remix of French duo Pandhora for "New Transitions" that is intended to fill our spirits with energy.

The first track "New Transitions" is a sound progression that brings us closer. it's an intimate, deep and spatial state of fulfilment. A sound experience full of emotions, dreamlike sensations and euphoria.

"Broken Barriers", the second track, has the magical characteristic of taking us to a universe of colours far from the isolation caused by the pandemic. This track materializes the energy we need to return to the dancefloor; turning percussions and synthesizers into the desire to feel free through dance again.

The last track is a solid reshape by Pandhora for "New Transitions". It's loaded with elements that make us travel to the best memories we have. It's an invitation to put our eyes on the future.

We have missed the magical ritual of dancing surrounded by people but the dreamy breakdown of this piece is the perfect spell to fill that void.

Aponia is the first track of this release. A progressive and downtempo sound experience that announces the beginning of this journey. With the voice of Sanguinello loaded with Soul characteristics it’s time to suppress the pain and focus on the stability of our delight.

The second track of this release Euthymia, is related to the calm phase found in the hard moments of our lives. From a mysterious groove, we get into a deep spiral of joy before we fall into the intense and emotional final drop. This track is uplift and euphoria in one place.

Finally, Ataraxia seeks to eliminate our disturbances and the banality of pleasures.
