Press Release – About Song:
Planetarium Sessions – a new LA-based live session series that blends orchestral arrangements, astronomy, hip hop, and R&B. Inspired by stargazing, it’s all about discovering new stars in every sense – both literally and musically. We believe that hip hop and strings have long been among the strongest cultural connections in music, but have never had the right online outlet. That’s why we are creating a spin on the live session concept – instead of relying on the location and the hook and expecting the artist to come up with a version of their song (like Tiny Desk or any other live session series), we’re reimagining the artist’s song with creative string arrangements ourselves. The vision is to shoot our episodes inside actual observatories around Los Angeles, and to create ongoing cultural events that will collide chamber music and hip hop audiences.
In the short time that we’ve been around, we’ve already generated notable traction – with hundreds of thousands of views on social media and industry legends like Timbaland paying attention.
The pilot episode, featuring Blimes and Gab, marked the loved duo’s long-awaited comeback with their new single – Say That – completely reimagined with strings and drums.
“Con-Artist by Big Brody Ode and Drum Fu asserts itself from the opening seconds, building an atmosphere charged with tension and intrigue. The production makes effective use of its momentum, allowing the melody to spread like a shadow across the track and guide its narrative. The vocals stand out through their larger-than-life, uncompromising presence, projecting a confidence that borders on provocation. Meanwhile, the rhythm moves with relentless energy, fueling the song with vitality and transforming it into an immersive experience that is difficult to ignore.”

Think a lot of things that. We dont say. Play a lot of songs that. We won’t sing. Want a lot of things that. We don’t need. Lose a lot of things that. We can’t see.
Think a lot of things that. We dont say. Play a lot of songs that. We won’t sing. Want a lot of things that. We don’t need. Lose a lot of things that. We can’t see.
Think I got shook. Seen a lot of things. But I never seen you. You grabbed ya chai latte. Sitting in the booth. Couldn’t make a move. But I had to make a move. I had to hit the zoom. I had to hit the vroom. Hey my name is Justy fancy meeting you. Looked at me like trust me it’s good to meet you too. But I can’t really trust me when it comes to you. Cause.
Think a lot of things that. We dont say. Play a lot of songs that. We won’t sing. Want a lot of things that. We don’t need. Lose a lot of things that. We can’t see.
Think a lot of things that. We dont say. Play a lot of songs that. We won’t sing. Want a lot of things that. We don’t need. Lose a lot of things that. We can’t see.
I said I met somebody. You met somebody? Cute ass, smart ass, delight and all. Vanilla scented smell like fall. Got me breaking up my syllables. But really it’s just critical. You understand the pivotal. Moment in my life. Like we got one right move. To turn this shit into life. Like we was dating with intention. From the mention. No pressure second guessing. If we always learn the lesson. Like.
Think a lot of things that. We dont say. Play a lot of songs that. We won’t sing. Want a lot of things that. We don’t need. Lose a lot of things that. We can’t see.
