SHADES is the stunning collaborative EP by Mexican artists Trip Tease & Kris Berle. Influenced by genres including pop, techno, lo-fi house and synthwave and creating work that blends lofi and techno sounds with dreamy atmospheres and harmonic structures, SHADES features 5 distinct cuts that explore the edges of groove and found electronic moments, punctuated by Kris’s unique lyrical style and a combination of production styles of the artists. From the downtempo happy groove of “Monkey” which they produced in a bunker studio in Mexico City while Kris later recorded the vocals on a train amid a trip to Norway.
