Chloe Kay & The Crusade – Broken Woman
“She have such a beautiful voice, with great range, a bit nasal at moments, just as I love. Song is perfect for her vocal capabilities, amazing synergy she have with the music. That guitar solo is so old school rock moment, just a perfect timing so you can be blown away with her voice when the verse comes back. ”

Eora (Sydney) based band Chloe Kay & The Crusade’s music is deeply rooted in blues, reminiscent of past times, with a timeless essence. Their new single ‘Broken Woman’ is true to this sentiment, showing a more vulnerable side to the band, a side of front-woman and singer Chloe hadn’t explored yet.
The band’s two previous singles, ‘Just Got Burned’ – which saw the band chart at “19 on the Triple J Unearthed Roots Chart, and ‘Brokedown and Broke’- which premiered on Rolling Stone, were both heavily riff-focused, upbeat blues-rock tracks, the type of music you’d blast with the windows down on a road trip.
“The blistering instruments of icons such as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Leon Bridges shine through, while Kay’s vocals feature a mesmerising timbre reminiscent of the like of Bonnie Raitt or even Joss Stone.” – Tyler Jenke, Rolling Stone
Shifting from this, ‘Broken Woman’ was a catharsis for Chloe after breaking away from an unhealthy relationship.
“‘Broken Woman’ was my chance to say what I’d been holding inside. This track is for those who have been taken advantage of, lied to and disrespected in a relationship and who so badly want to be seen and heard. ‘Broken Woman’ will be a little slice of therapy for some and serve as an anthem for those who have felt broken. I hope it will give them a chance to feel empowered, even just for a few minutes.” – Chloe

B. Kennedic – Self Made
“Low synth bass is just beautiful and dark, as well as the synth sequence that is heard throughout the song. Vocals are perfect with the mood of the song, along with that piano theme that appears in few parts, beautiful detail in arrangement. ”

“This is a song about friendship and how it passes the test of time. A sad song in which there was a place for a beautiful melody in the genre of Indie pop. The atmosphere is very reverent and professionally conveyed, which will enter your heart as in your own home and tell you a deep story.” (Automatically Translated with Google Translate)

Based on Green & Granstrom’s true story, “Stranger With My Face” tells the story about two brothers meeting for the first time after their father passed away. Growing up with different mothers, one brother knew he had ahalf-brother on his father’s side. However, he never took the initiative to contact them and never got to meet his father before he died. The other brother grew up with their father and his mother, but never learned about the brother while their father was still alive. My own story also includes both a half-sister and a half-sister on my father’s side, but the story was simplified for the song. The music is written by Omri Lahav, whose writing credits include the soundtracks for the documentary “Quiet Explosions” and the short film “Over My Dead Body”, which were long-listed for Best Original Score for this year’s Oscars and nominated for an Emmy, respectively, as well as featured in the Cannes Festival last month.

Chance Brown – Sweet Time
“A sad, dreary and empathic song in sweet times, which once warmed the soul of two in love hearts. Acoustic music pours on the soul as if burning a balm, while healing all the wounds and recalling the old days. Music that helps to think about something important and draw conclusions ..” (Automatically Translated with Google Translate)
“Грустная, тоскливая и сопереживающая песня по сладким временам, которые когда-то согревали душу двух влюблённых сердец. Акустическая музыка льётся на душу словно обжигающий бальзам, одновременно залечивая все раны и напоминая о былых временах. Музыка, которая помогает задуматься о нечто важном и сделать выводы..”

The New Division – Circles
“Reminded me a lot of Yazoo, from the music approach, rhythm parts, melodies, synth choices, most of them, general mood. Like it was a cross between Yazoo and Depeche Mode, 80’s mood guarantied, just amazing. Beautiful vibes. ”
