“The drum machine sets the mood. The build of patterns increases at a steady pace setting the mood. Smooth synths add to the ensemble with a sleek voice making itself heard. Simple at times can provide more space to be free and find oneself in the tune. ”

“A dancing creature hopping across a meadow into a lush green forest filled with natures magic. The sun rises behind it as the ray shine on the treetops awaking all the creatures. A new dawn is upon us, fresh and magnificent in her glory. This beautiful composure can truly relax one to the core. ”

“When we think about "home", a cozy atmosphere comes in the mind. For most of us is the place we find shelter and usually good company. "Jills Veranda" carries good memories of endless hours, spent with friends and even if you miss this, Paulin's mesmerizing voice will make you feel the same.”

This song is a homage and lovesong to the artists who magically combine words and music in a way that touches our souls. I was inspired by a swedish music documentary by the same name.

RtwoG2 x iPree – Carry Badmind

May 13th, 2022|Audio, Pop, The Latest|

“One of the most difficult musical solutions is that each sound element is harmoniously built into the general structure of the narrative. And at -rtwog2 x ipree - it turned out perfectly in their new single. Reggae and Afrobeats have never sounded so fresh and ideologically! (Automatically Translated with Google Translate)

“Одно из самых трудных музыкальных решений состоит в том, чтобы каждый звуковой элемент был гармонично встроен в общую структуру повествования. И у -RtwoG2 x iPree- это прекрасно получилось в их новом сингле. Reggae и Afrobeats ещё никогда не звучали так свежо и идейно!”

Mare Insularum Pier – Hampsicora’s lament

May 13th, 2022|Audio, Neoclassical, The Latest|

“We all struggle among the shadows. Wondering souls taking their turn on this magical planet. Soft as rose petals sprinkled by the morning dew. The piano here really comes alive in soft gentle ways only a true master can express. ”

Song inspired by Hampsicora's failed rebellion against the Romans in 215 BC. With the piece I wanted to imagine the moment when he realises he has lost everything by looking at the smoke coming from the battlefield on which his son is also lying.

Brendan Kidd – Hymn to the Muezzin

May 13th, 2022|Audio, Rock, The Latest|

“Misty mountains with dark lush forests that seem to go on forever. A weary traveler on a lonely road soaking up the memories of yesterdays glory. The vocal chorus guides us further on this journey as the acoustical guitar and strings really make themselves stand out. Hope is felt in the distant echoes of this beautifully assembled piece. ”

The music is North American folk, with deep currents of eastern classical. The emphasis and focus of the music is on the poetry, elevated by melody; and musically, classical compositions from acoustic instruments, including harp, cello, oud, and violin, provide the lyrical templates for the text. The main influences for the poetry are the long tradition of Sufi Qawwali and the work of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, mysteriously mixed with the Canadian folk lineages of Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen. The music is in turns bleak and mourning, and suddenly opens out into rapture and invocation.

New album Homesick marks the band’s second Top 3 record

Out Now on Polydor

November/December UK ‘The Hometown Tour’ including date at London’s Alexandra Palace – Dec 1st

Off the back of cementing their second Top 3 record in a row, Sea Girls waste no time in delivering another slice of guitar-driven pop brilliance with brand new single ‘DNA’. After arriving as a special one off limited edition Blue 7″ vinyl for Record Store Day on April 23rd, the track has been added to the record as a special bonus track on all DSPs from today due to overwhelming fan demand.

Shot impressively in one take, against the backdrop of the Swiss mountains, the video sees frontman Henry Camamile spill his heart out to camera whilst parading the orange-soaked Lucerne terrain – one that reflects the beauty and strangeness in the track.

“We felt that there was another story to tell from the Homesick era, an itch that DNA scratches,” says frontman Henry Camamile. “This track is a monumental celebration of being strange. It ponders belonging and identity. DNA celebrates people who don’t fit in. You are who you are and that’s why people love you”

On the video, he continues; “We shot it in just one take whilst travelling between shows on our latest European tour. Our tour bus was heading over the mountains between Germany and Switzerland, and it just all made sense – we had to film there. I think we managed to stumble upon one of the most beautiful locations on earth!”

Single artwork is delivered by the impeccable Dazed Rising photographer Megan Doherty.

It’s also extremely exciting times for the band live as they recently revealed their biggest UK headline shows to date with `The Hometown Tour’. Kicking off mid-November, Sea Girls will take on seven monster shows including what will be a truly special night at London’s Alexandra Palace on December 1st. Mr. SOS – Peace & Prosperity

May 13th, 2022|Audio, Hip-Hop, The Latest|

“"Mr. SOS" is sending his message through a track inspired from a world full of difficulties. Addictive drums, saxophone loops and vocals telling a story of life struggle. Listen and realize that if you want to improve the world, you've to start from yourself first!”

Mr. SOS revives the important question, "what happened to peace," on this anti-war anthem, "Peace & Prosperity" produced by Maxamill.

Written for Ukraine and all victims of abuse, SOS delivers smooth but concise rhymes over beautiful production made up from hard bass grooves, hypnotic guitar melodies and a sax loop that sounds like a classic hip hop version of Marvin Gaye's "What’s Going On".

The song opens with a story of domestic abuse, focusing on a character named Janie who confronts her abuser. When asked why he chose to tell this story, SOS says, "It’s because we know there's a lot going on in the world right now and we want to be able to help, but we can't fix the world unless we fix ourselves first. It also plays like a metaphor for conflict such as the one happening between Russia & Ukraine."

Then in the second verse SOS gives us positive & inspiring words dedicated to Ukraine and everyone around the world who shares solidarity with the Ukrainian people, as well as a message for all people and leaders. "It’s a song I can see being played by protesters and revolutionaries," adds SOS.

"Peace & Prosperity" is out now, with cover art by Ukrainian artist and graphic designer Mikhailo Polivanov.
