First track from album “Inceptio”. It starts of in a very dystopian mood that gradually changes through the track, and a very radical change happens little over the halfway marker that brightens up everything. Still, things are not completely resolved which is a theme throughout the album. The track is mostly played by hand using analog synths and analog drum machines.

Everything Is Remembered is an ambient instrumental track that uses a vintage Omnichord, lo-fi drum loops, and pitch and time warping techniques create a dreamy atmosphere. Stephen Caulfield speaks about this music: I find watching the waves wash on and off the black sand beach very hypnotic and you can easily get lost in your thoughts and memories - which suits this song very well. The instrumentation on this song is essentially a love letter to one of my all time favourite instruments, the Suzuki Omnichord OM-84. I’ve recorded it live and sequenced, as well as sampling it and doing all sorts of audio mangling.

John Lebanon – Vermontier (Spotify)
John Lebanon is an avant-garde band based in Providence, RI. Founded by Roy S, MD, the project originally began as a way for the songwriter to cope with the physically and mentally exhausting work of a medical resident at Brown University. One afternoon in a local park, far from the chaos of the hospital, Roy composed the song ‘Providence is Divine’. Sensing he’d come up with something special, the young artist began scouring the city, where he found plenty of eager collaborators.
