Alex Rogalski – Grateful (Spotify)

“Beauty, grace and charm are the most suitable epithets for this musical piece. Unstasive and unshakable neoclassic in its best manifestation, when each note is in its place. And let the whole world wait...”

“Красота, грациозность и очарование - это самые подходящие эпитеты для этого музыкального произведения. Нестареющая и незыблемая неоклассика в своём лучшем проявлении, когда каждая нота на своём месте. И пусть весь мир подождёт...”

Jonathan Carlisle – Haven (Spotify)

“Soulful music for those who need to escape from their noisy surrounding and just relax. A solo piano melody is perfect for this purpose, because it can instantly stop time, offering the opportunity to relax.”

“Душевная музыка для тех, кому необходимо остановиться в суете окруживших его событий и просто дать своему сердцу отдохнуть. Мелодия пиано идеальный для этого вариант, она способна заставить время остановиться на мгновение, чтобы у вас была возможность просто расслабиться.”

Haven is a piece about not being able to relive your memories. To me it creates a picture of being alone, in a boat, in the ocean. There are many memories but that's all they are and only you feel the haven they bring.

PIANORAK is the third solo album by Lumiere, aka Thanasis Christodoulou. PIANORAK is an album based entirely on classical piano. The main inspiration for the album was an autumn train trip to rainy central and eastern Europe in September 2019. Starting in Bulgaria and ending in Poland, with many stops in different countries, this journey was musically captured by Lumiere with six tracks corresponding to six cities on the journey, cities that often seemed like variations of each other.

Hannah Schneider – Fluid (Spotify)

“Too artistic to be true, the recent release of Hannah Schneider is full of Neoclassic spirituality. Piano melodies which flow like pure water in absolute balance with the artist's silvery voice. True excellence of harmony for our ears.”

-Nagamag.com

https://www.instagram.com/riccardocaprarese/Hannah Schneider is known for her playful alternative pop, skillfully crafted with elements from electronic and ambient landscapes. Her music is imbued with themes of melancholia and loneliness that are conveyed with an engaging charisma in her voice. The 2nd single from her coming album is written under the lockdown in 2021. The song is a tribute to the silence, and you hear nothing else than Hannah's voice and her piano. No electronic, no samples, no loops. Simple, beautiful, and intense.

The song describes the phenomenon “black sun” where flocks of birds gather in striking formations, that look completely unreal. The shifting movements are a defence against birds of prey, and looks a little like a heavy fluid shifting - like oil in water.

Steve Luck – Small Hours (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Neoclassical, The Latest|Tags: , , |

“Sometimes you need a few minutes or even hours to realize the importance of some things. Such music can help realize the thin, fragile line between reality and fiction. Just a few minutes of these piano charming sounds can be enough to affect your fate.”

“Порою нужно всего несколько часов или минут, чтобы осознать важность некоторых вещей. Подобная музыка способна помочь уловить тонкую, хрупкую грань между явью и вымыслом. Всего несколько минут в этих чарующих звуках пиано и ты уже практически таишь на ладонях судьбы, словно долька тёмного, горького шоколада.”

Aina Myrstener Cello – Åter åter (Spotify)

“Bright example of pure, sparkling sound. The artist has put together Electronic and Neoclassical elements, forming a remarkable Ambient result. We really enjoyed those chords of Cello, as decorated with a little bit of violin.”

-Nagamag.com

This is the first track taken from Cellomusik III, the third and final album in Aina Myrstener Cello’s trilogy Cellomusik where she explores the sounds of the cello to make unique and mesmerizing ambient and minimal music. Partially mixed in the EMS-studio in Stockholm it also incorporates electronic sounds and techniques with the result reminiscent of the works of Steve Reich, Hildur Guðnadóttir and Arthur Russell.
