Rebecca Jean Rossi says about that song "There is a flower that grows high in the Alps, and is able to bloom every year even under very harsh conditions. One winter, I became fascinated by this flower, "Stella Alpina"- I felt connected to it, as if my own struggles with my health (having received a harsh diagnosis at a young age) could be analogous in some ways to this flower's natural habitat- and how even on my worst days, my only desire despite the circumstances, was to bloom again."
