Vaghy – Genesis (Spotify)
“Discover the hidden beauty in the simplicity of this Solo piano creation. Hands which gently touch the note keys and create a slowly-progressing sound pattern. Only few artists can achieve this result and Tamas Vaghy is surely one of them.”

This is the lead single from Vaghy's forthcoming album 'Minimalism'
Hungarian pianist-composer Tamás Vághy will release his stunning debut album Minimalism on Théque Records in February 2022.
Accomplished pianist Vaghy has spent many years playing piano, synths and other instruments with a variety of different bands. He is one of the main artists and organisers of Piano Day Budapest and previous releases have come in the form of a compilation album of minimal pieces on labels like Blue Spiral Records. He is also a notable live performer and improvisational artist who has played with names like Lubomyr Melnyk, Lisa Morgenstern, Simeon Walker, James Gillespie and iamyank.
The main goal of this debut solo album was for vaghy to explore himself and experience being a solo artist after 20 years of playing as part of a band. The concept behind ‘Minimalism’ was to write and arrange songs with as few instruments as possible. A small old Swedish pianette with 64 keys was used as a synthesizer and modified by all kinds of materials and tools before long hours of experimentation. It gave rise to all tracks bar one, 'Genesis', which is the result of an improvised session on an old worn-out Russian piano. A copy of Moog Taurus, designed by vaghy himself, accompanies the album throughout, as do old analog monophonic synthesizers and a zither, even though its sound becomes unrecognisable in his hands.
The beautiful 'Rush' is a heart-achingly melancholic opener followed by the more light, airy and optimistic 'Nerd.' vaghy's expressive playing style means each piece of the album is laden with emotion: 'Tripping' is uncertain and nervous, 'Lonely' with its minor chords and the atmospheric sound of feet on pedals is inwardly reflective and '79 Seconds' loops ever-evolving phrases that elevate your soul. The second half of this powerfully emotive album takes in the timeless neo-classical charms of 'Intention' and 'Genesis,' while 'Backwash' is lit up with brighter chords and a more intense playing style that builds the energy. That carries on through the fluttering keys of 'Bite,' before the soothing 'Dawn Light' resets the mood and ‘Rain' closes the album with a glorious sense of hope and beauty.
Minimalism is a piano album, but it is an adventurous and experimental one that creates unique material with a sound all of its own.

townsend – Didn’t Happen (Video)
“All good moments don’t last forever and gradually head towards an end. This rule applies in many aspects of our lives and usually in personal relationships too. This is the case in this strongly emotional single with bold lyrics and unique singing approach.”
-Nagamag.com
ts about the feeling you get when something good has to come to an end. When the concert you waited forever to go to turns the lights on. When the vacation you’ve been planning for the last year is over. Or when the relationship that brought you so much happiness breaks up. After the high everything else feels low and *almost* makes you wish it never happened in the first place.

Saven – Tell Me When You Dream (Spotify)
“Have you ever wondered that a dream could be more real than reality itself? "Saven" sings with his elegant Folk style and invites us in a world of self-exploration. Do you realy know who you are or what you can achieve? Listen to this song and find out!”
-Nagamag.com
“Tell Me When You Dream” by “Saven” is a new folk song with an old fashioned 1950’s vibe that will make you think twice before you dismiss your dreams. Saven came up with the melody and lyrics just about seven years ago while walking through an airport terminal. The song is about going on a path of self-exploration and finding an inner truth on the edge of awareness.

As the title of the song suggests, the song whisks you away to a dreamy sunset-like atmosphere with choir song, acoustic guitar and brushes played on a drum set. The simple electric guitar and light gentle tones from a xylophone feel like a night breeze and with the Elvis inspired vocals, it feels like you are being unwound and sung to sleep.

So have a listen to the song, give your dreams an extra thought, because there might be a truth that is shining through. Or is it just a dream?

Working Class Hussys – Elaine (Spotify)
“"Working Class Hussys" strike with their impressive single "Elaine". Indie Folk style with bold electric guitar patterns and very artistic duo in the vocals. A nostalgic story full of happy memories from the singer's past. Those lyrics and video clip can strongly touch each of us. Great work!”
-Nagamag.com
Central New Jersey’s Working Class Hussys are the hook-heavy Americana/rock band that’s redefining roots music. Led by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Ian Patrick Gentles, the band puts out a sound that blends soaring harmony vocals, crunchy guitars, and big choruses into music no other group in the genre could make. For Ian, it all started at the age of 7 when his aunt signed him up for guitar lessons after he took an interest in an old, beat up guitar his aunt had lying around. He kept with those lessons for the next decade, which involved learning how to sight-read music and becoming a classically trained musician. He moved to Philadelphia and then Boston, where he started a band called 'Uncle Butch' with his brother. Uncle Butch relocated to New York City in the early '90s where they gained popularity performing every night along Bleeker Street and the East Village. Ian formed Working Class Hussys in the early 2000s, going through several different iterations of the band over the next 15 years. Ian met Patricia Crowell in 2009. They got married 3 years later and she became the band's manager/marketer/strategist as well as background singer. Ian spent a dozen years as an open-road trucker and comes by his American twang honestly. As such, Working Class Hussys use Southern, Heartland, and Alt-Rock influences interchangeably to create unforgettable original songs about the lives of everyday people.

Sawyer Fredericks – Days Go By (Spotify)
“A perfect example of true Folk sound. The atmosphere is simply amazing in its warmth and comfort. Calm, slow melody and vocals which stick in memory, as if leaves falling from a tree. The music you need to listen and let it pass through yourself like an electric charge.”
“Идеальный пример истинного фолк звучания. Атмосфера просто поражает своей теплотой и уютом. Спокойная, медленная, комфортная мелодия и вокал притягивают к себе и оседают в памяти, словно падающими с деревьев листьями, на долгое время. Музыку, которую нужно понять и пропустить через себя словно электрический заряд.”
-Nagamag.com
Written and produced by Fredericks, Flowers For You was recorded fully to analog tape at Dreamland Recording Studio in Woodstock, NY with his band Gannon Ferrell on bass guitar, Chris Thomas on drums and Jerome Goosman on guitar. Special guests Katie Larson and Sav Buist of The Accidentals contributed strings to “Lies You Tell” and “Days Go By”.

Dominique Simone is back with her spiritually aligned single ‘Angel’, released on one of the most famous angel numbers: 11/11 (November 11th).
https://www.instagram.com/dominiquesimonemusic/
Following the success of her previous single ‘Sweater’ which was praised by Music News, Conversations About Her, Neon Music and more, ‘Angel’ was recorded in 2018 while Dominique was working on really honing her skills in the studio, continuously tweaking the track to create a song that is in line with her sound as well as who she is today.
https://www.facebook.com/dominiquesimonemusic
Speaking about the track Dominique says, “This track was one of the first songs I ever wrote! I believe I was around 8 years old. I took inspiration from the things around me: this was church and Adele. I had always found myself drawn to music and found myself sitting at our piano at home trying to create melodies by ear. The song is an unrequited love song with biblical imagery, perfectly stemming from my inspiration! Obviously as the years have gone on I have done a lot of changes to the song; maturing the lyrics and making it into a song people will enjoy! It is such a joy to know this song is coming out to the public, younger Dominique would have been so proud.”

Dominique Simone's soulful vocals and velvety tone are what sets her apart as one to watch in 2021. Citing Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas and Kiana Ledé as her biggest influences, Dominique commands her own distinctive sound, effortlessly blending elements of neo-soul, R&B and alt-pop. Dominique Simone is a confident performer with a strong work ethic. As a young girl, she was always drawn to music, teaching herself the piano and writing songs from as young as eight years old! She began performing professionally at sixteen, gigging around her local area including Granvilles Brasserie & Music Bar, local festivals, online live shows, and a couple of live appearances on Stafford FM. She has had a couple write ups in local papers too! She also began to seriously work on her original songs with the recording studio Inspire Music.
Her debut Single 'Serenity' was released on 6th June to a brilliant reception. ‘Serenity’ is a wonderful Neo-Soul/R&B acoustic track with idiosyncratic melodies and lyrics. The meaning of this debut song was to be a reflection of existence and the attempt to find solace in solitude. She was played on BBC Introducing and received glowing endorsements from listeners speaking of a personal connection to the song and its meaningful lyrics.
Whilst the buzz continues to grow, people are excited to see what comes next and Dominique Simone is growing a loyal fanbase. Not only is her music unique and addictive, but her whole brand is creative and distinctive.
