Griffith Frank – End of the World

Categories: Audio, Rock, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“-GRIFFITH Frank- clearly loves what he does, since you feel all his love for his work in every sound, in every note and in the text, which with such trepidates conveys the whole semantic message to the audience! A bright and very tube track in the Rock genre, with a light taste of nostalgia on the 90s. (Automatically Translated with Google Translate)

“-Griffith Frank- явно любит то, что он делает, так как всю его любовь к своему творчеству ощущаешь в каждом звуке, в каждой ноте и в тексте, который с таким трепетом доносит до слушателей весь смысловой посыл! Яркий и очень ламповый трек в жанре Rock, с лёгким привкусом ностальгии по 90-ым.”

Artist said about this song:

"This song was inspired by the existential crisis that was 2020 and 2021. Climate change, social unrest, lockdowns, etc etc all made it feel like if it wasnt already the end of the world... we were getting close to it. So during my personal freak out, I looked into the eyes of my aging cat.. and realized if the world was going to end, she wouldn't be around to see it. And maybe I wouldn't either. Or maybe I would. Regardless, the idea of this song sprang to life, and I knew I needed make a rocky vibe to the end of times. Hope you enjoy!"

New album Homesick marks the band’s second Top 3 record

Out Now on Polydor

November/December UK ‘The Hometown Tour’ including date at London’s Alexandra Palace – Dec 1st

Off the back of cementing their second Top 3 record in a row, Sea Girls waste no time in delivering another slice of guitar-driven pop brilliance with brand new single ‘DNA’. After arriving as a special one off limited edition Blue 7″ vinyl for Record Store Day on April 23rd, the track has been added to the record as a special bonus track on all DSPs from today due to overwhelming fan demand.

Shot impressively in one take, against the backdrop of the Swiss mountains, the video sees frontman Henry Camamile spill his heart out to camera whilst parading the orange-soaked Lucerne terrain – one that reflects the beauty and strangeness in the track.

“We felt that there was another story to tell from the Homesick era, an itch that DNA scratches,” says frontman Henry Camamile. “This track is a monumental celebration of being strange. It ponders belonging and identity. DNA celebrates people who don’t fit in. You are who you are and that’s why people love you”

On the video, he continues; “We shot it in just one take whilst travelling between shows on our latest European tour. Our tour bus was heading over the mountains between Germany and Switzerland, and it just all made sense – we had to film there. I think we managed to stumble upon one of the most beautiful locations on earth!”

Single artwork is delivered by the impeccable Dazed Rising photographer Megan Doherty.

It’s also extremely exciting times for the band live as they recently revealed their biggest UK headline shows to date with `The Hometown Tour’. Kicking off mid-November, Sea Girls will take on seven monster shows including what will be a truly special night at London’s Alexandra Palace on December 1st. “-Eddie connected the best receptions of Indie Pop with the old Rock School out of the 90s. Sharp guitar chords, memorable bright melody, very steep, dynamic rhythm and beautiful text that can awaken inside the brightest emotions. (Automatically Translated with Google Translate)

“-EDDIE- соединил лучшие приёмы Indie Pop со старой школой Rock из 90-ых. Резкие гитарные аккорды, запоминающаяся яркая мелодия, очень крутой, динамичный ритм и красивый текст, способный пробудить внутри самые яркие эмоции.”

"Livia" is definitely the "go hard song" on this debut E.P. for me. It's a song about a girl named Livia, to whom I just can't get out of my head. The energy is high and I hope this tun puts you in an upbeat mood!
