Words4Luv is the title track from the EP "Words4Luv". It is the 1st track on the EP and tells the story of first attraction. The EP tells the story from the first attraction, to how the love blossomed, through to the breakup and finally how you can get through a breakup and feel good.

All 5 of MACY's previous releases have gained attention from the BBC Wales Radio A List and MACY has continued to have support from the local BBC INTRODUCING teams. MACY has started live shows again and has already had Autumn headline shows in Cardiff and has another Headline show in December, in London. MACY will finish the year on a BBC Radio Xmas special show, alongside Emile Sande and Jack Savoretti.

"The past year something in me sort of snapped. I’m not sure if it was from the intensity of the pandemic, or the move back to my home state of California and reconnecting to my roots. But a lot of my beliefs about myself and the world have changed drastically.

I always lived with this anxiety like something horrible was just around the corner, but I started asking myself “What if it turns out better than you imagined?” Honestly, I really don’t know if it will! And for the first time in my life I feel so content with not knowing. It’s freeing- I wanted to weave all of it into a song.

And it was one of those days in the studio that felt electric. Daniel Pashman (producer) and I were paired to work together for the very first time and just really hit it off. I remember laughing the whole time, so happy about the melodies and sounds we were playing with.

Since then, “On My Way Up” has become such a familiar friend to me—on hard days, it literally helped me get out of bed and remember all of those realizations from the last year. Like I would blast it in my headphones and just laugh and dance around while making my morning tea. I hope listeners get to feel that too."

Pirate's Blind Date is a journey to the old worlds. My inspiration for this song comes from my own passion for old tales, mystery, and adventure movies. I made up the story when I was in France this summer, and I got inspired by the old villages, ruins, and wild nature. It made me think of a place with villains and heroes. A place where the forbidden can be law, and only the imagination sets limits. I hope this song will help you get a closer look into my head and see where my passion, thoughts, and ideas can take me. I really hope you will like it and join me on this journey to Pirate land! I have written and composed the song myself in my home studio.
