Release Review: Rip Gerber – Y Knot | Rock Music
Music Review:

Lyrics of Rip Gerber – Y Knot
Blackrock at sundown
Dirt on my boots and my soul
Today a burning man
Need me a watering hole
Y Knot, where the West was won
Whiskey before I head home
Elbows up, head in my palms
On this dusty throne
But all I can do
Is think about you
I know you’re
Never gonna make it
To the door
Strangers become brothers
Before the night is through
Came in for one drink – ha!
That drink ordered two
Bono sipping Casa Azul
Jono now flying
Stevie’s grin roped for sin
JP live like you’re dying
But all I can do
Is think about you
I know you’re
Never gonna make it
To the door
You broke my heart
Then cut me loose
But we made love
For one last shot
Hot mess in your leaving dress
Why’d I say, Y Knot?
Y Knot
Y Knot, yeah
Y Knot
Y Knot
You broke my heart
Then cut me loose
But we made love
For one last shot
Hot mess in your leaving dress
Why’d I say, Y Knot?
Y Knot
Y Knot, yeah
Y Knot
Y Knot
Barstool my saddle
Top shelf my range
Each glass a mile marker
Me smiles for a change
Toasting your ghost
Under neon moon
Nobody ever leaves the
Y Knot Saloon
But all I can do
Is think about you
I know you’re
Never gonna make it
To the door
Y Knot
But all I can do
Is think about you
I know you’re
Never gonna make it
To the door
Y Knot
Y Knot
I know you’re
Never gonna make it
To the door
