Throughout their illustrious career, the name Krewella has become known for hard-hitting and yet emotionally charged music. True to form, the Jahan and Yasmine sisters’ new body of work – “The Body Never Lies” is a shining example of their signature sound and artistic direction. After releasing singles “Never Been Hurt” with BEAUZ, “No Control” with MADGRRL, and “I’m Just A Monster Underneath, My Darling,” Krewella has unveiled the full 10-track masterpiece. The album was created from an intimate, internal space of Krewella’s self-reflection, exploring impermanence, the oddity of human experience, their relationship to the world around them as women in a male-dominated society. “The Body Never Lies” title hints at the range of emotions within the LP, with each track as unique and varied as our feelings themselves. “Traces” serves as a haunting opener, quickly followed by a series of heavier tracks, including the drum & bass-inspired “In The Water” and the angry yet touching “War Forever.” Krewella hits a different vibe with the last three tracks, which explore the darker and more tender side of the human experience. After a long wait for this highly anticipated album, to say that Krewella has done it again with “The Body Never Lies” would be an understatement. The album’s release coincides with their upcoming 2022 album-themed tour, which covers 2+ months of live shows and DJ sets, hitting cities including Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Denver, and more.

“The clench of a fist, the pit in your stomach, the fluid in your veins; the body is a sensor, messenger, keeper of stories, a fortress of the soul, an instrument of knowing, a rocket ship to other worlds. Every cell, pore, and bone recalls the past, absorbs the present, and senses the future. ‘The Body Never Lies’ is at times an angry, sometimes feverish, but always a euphoric conversation about feeling, remembering, and existing in our individual vessels that encase our soul and memories.” – Krewella

Sisters Jahan and Yasmine exploded onto the scene in 2012 with their debut self-released EP “Play Hard,” which has now been streamed almost 150M times on Spotify alone; additionally, their single “Alive” from the EP has been certified Platinum. Since then, the duo has made a name for themselves and their hard-hitting yet melodic and vocal-driven sound through releases like “Live for the Night,” “Enjoy the Ride,” and more. In 2016, Krewella was awarded a coveted place on Forbes’s “30 Under 30” list. They have performed at major global music festivals, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival, iHeartRadio Music Festival, and many others, in addition to their own headlining tours. As one of the main elements of the Krewella canon, the group’s onstage performances serve as the live extension of their music and art, incorporating a multitude of audiovisual elements together with Jahan and Yasmine’s live vocals and powerful onstage energy.

Steerner – Better (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , |

“"Better" is about a love story which went wrong because the couple didn't actually match each other. Fast EDM sound, rich in melodic elements and strong beat. A must for every fan in the scene and still attractive for most of us!”

-Nagamag.com

Better is a song about two people falling in love at an early age, just to later find out they weren’t perfect for each other. Going off and on, trying to fix what’s broken but no matter how hard they try, it always results in being dark and evil. They refuse to admit it, but the best solution would simply be to let go - for the better.

Becky HIll x Galantis – Run (Video)

Categories: Pop, The Latest, Video|Tags: , , , |

“A very flexible, professionally done work that incorporates the energy of Becky Hill’s vocals. Its dynamic EDM rhythms and beautiful arrangement, can blow up every dance floor!”

“Очень многосторонняя, выполненная на профессиональном уровне работа, вобравшая в себя энергетику вокала -Becky Hill-, динамичные ритмы EDM и прекрасную аранжировку, которая способна взорвать любой танцпол!”

-Nagamag.com

Today Brit-award winning singer, songwriter and dance music trailblazer Becky Hill releases her brand-new single “Run” with Galantis.

The release of “Run” comes hot on the heels of the release of “Here For You” (Becky’s collaboration with Wilkinson written specifically for his album), and her winning “Best Dance Act” at BRIT Awards 2022 earlier this month. The fan-voted Award (which saw a long-awaited return of the Dance category, after a 16-year hiatus) was presented to an ecstatic Becky by her past collaborators David Guetta (who has hailed her as “one of the very rare queens of dance of music”) and Pete Tong.

“Run” is Becky’s first collaboration with Swedish EDM group Galantis. “Run” is written by Becky Hill, MNEK and written/produced by Galantis and was teased by Becky on TikTok on 18th February.

“I’m so excited to release Run with Galantis.” says Becky. “I wrote it with my best friend MNEK who I’ve been writing with for 10 years and the magic I felt when we first wrote my single Losing back in 2012, I still feel to this day when writing with him. I feel like every single I release has the potential to better the last one and this is no different, especially with Galantis featuring on the record too. With their catalogue of hits with the likes of Little Mix and Years & Years I’m very proud to be a part of another huge collaboration with them. This next phase of my artistry is an extension of me fully coming out as a popstar, but this time with a BRIT Award in hand!”

The accompanying music video for “Run” is directed by Michael Holyk and was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. Packed with stunning landscape shots, vibrant textures and contrasting moods, its sees Becky escape the run-of-the-mill day-to-day, to enjoy a romance in sunnier climes.

Becky’s collaborators on “Run”, Galantis, have enjoyed wide acclaim after the release of their debut album Pharmacy which topped the Billboard Dance album chart, garnered numerous platinum and gold RIAA certifications and two Grammy Nominations. The much-in-demand duo have collaborated with everyone from Dolly Parton, (on their third album Church), and Little Mix and David Guetta (on their 2021 summer smash “Heartbreak Anthem” which debuted at #1 on the Worldwide iTunes charts and spent 13 weeks in the Top 10 of the UK’s Official Chart top ten), to Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry and Britney Spears.

The first of a string of releases due from Becky this year, brand new single “Run” is set to further cement her reputation as the Queen of Dance music after an incredible 2021. The third most streamed British female solo artist on Spotify last year (behind Dua Lipa and Adele), with the fifth most streamed song by a British female (with “Remember”), the release of Becky’s Top 10 debut album Only Honest On The Weekend, saw her score five Official Chart Top 40 singles and bring her BPI certification total to 9 x platinum, 4 x gold and 1 x silver.

In addition to releasing more music, Becky has a packed live schedule planned for 2022. Having proven herself a festival line-up must-have in 2021 (with stand-out sets at Reading & Leeds and a headline slot at Camp Bestival to name but a few), and selling over 50,000 tickets for her sold-out nationwide headline Only Honest On The Weekend Tour, Becky has already announced she’ll be performing at Creamfields South, NASS Festival, Neighbourhood Weekender and Camp Bestival.

With an irrefutable aptitude for writing chart-smashing pop songs and a reputation as a pioneer in the electronic music scene, Becky Hill is one of Britain’s most in-demand musical exports. She has over 180 songs registered with ASCAP – no mean feat considering only 17% of PRS for Music’s registered songwriters are female – and an impressive string of hits to her name. Having written and performed on thirteen singles which charted in the Top 40 of the UK Official Singles Chart (including four top 10 singles and one number 1), Becky has now amassed over 3.2 billion total global streams and over 17 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

Tobtok x Wankelmut – Greenlight (feat. Louis III) (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, House, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Attractive melody, catchy effects and fat bass are the main elements of this banger. When Deep House meets EDM and three minds work together, the result cannot fail! Raise your skeakers volume, turn off the lights and daaance...”

-Nagamag.com

Standout Swedish producer, Tobtok, makes his first outing of 2022 with new deep house single ‘Greenlight’, marking a debut collaboration with a fellow multi-platinum-awarded producer, Wankelmut. This hookfest of a composition features South London singer-songwriter, Louis III whose been making serious waves with his candid, beat driven pop-R&B sounds. Infectious with an irresistible chorus, compelling melody, and catchy choice of instrumentation, ‘Greenlight’ is out now on London’s chart-topping crossover dance label, Perfect Havoc. Stream it now https://PerfectHavoc.lnk.to/greenlight.

Tobtok aka Tobias Karlsson signed to Perfect Havoc during the early stages of his budding career. He’s grown into one of the most talented artists leading the new wave of Swedish electronic music DJ / producers. He has generated over 500 million streams globally across his original work, remixes and productions for Joel Corry, Robin Schulz, and Karen Harding to name few on such illustrious labels as Ministry of Sound, Kitsuné and of course, his home at Perfect Havoc.

Tobtok’s highlight outings include the Australian double platinum record, ‘Fast Car’; flexing his DJ skills on Toolroom Records’ ‘Miami Poolside’ compilation; and ‘New Levels’ which achieved over 20 million streams globally and was championed as a ‘Tune of the Week’ on BBC Radio 1. And that’s not to mention to the key DJ support he’s had along the from Sam Feldt, Sigala, Tiësto amongst many others.

Collaborating with Tobtok is high flying Berlin talent, Jacob Dilssner aka Wankelmut, who ranks amongst the most popular and renowned house and techno talents of the past 10 years. While he first appeared on Perfect Havoc in 2021 alongside Xoro on ‘Good In Goodbye’, it was back in 2012 when he made his breakthrough with a mix of Asaf Avidan’s ‘One Day / Reckoning Song’. It placed him firmly on the map after soaring to #1 in eight European countries, selling over three million units and bestowing him with a multitude of Gold and Platinum Awards. It’s fair to say Wankelmut has been a roll ever since.

Wankelmut’s other production highlights include ‘My Head Is A Jungle’ featuring Australian singer Emma Louise (a top 20 entry across Europe), which peaked at #5 in the UK charts courtesy of a MK remix. His popular remixes for Dennis Lloyd, Gossip and Lenny Kravitz, releases on Defected, Spinnin’ Deep and Toolroom, and output on his own WKLMT label – notably the club smashes ‘Ayahuasca’ and ‘Roll It’ - have earnt Wankelmut an impressive 2million monthly listeners on Spotify. Whether hosting his long-running radio show on Germany’s biggest station WDR 1Live or compiling his Get Physical mix compilation series ‘Wankelmoods’, this artist has earned fans all over the world and they’ve never stopped growing.

Completing the bill on ‘Greenlight’ is Croydon breaking talent, Louis III. His reputation is fast growing with support from heavy hitters like BBC’s 1Xtra and Radio 1 where his tracks have featured as ‘Best New Pop’. His skills were recognised by drum n bass duo Sigma where together they dropped the hit track ‘Anywhere’, racking up over 60 million streams on Spotify to date and gaining a silver certification in the UK.

It was on TikTok last year where Louis exploded (551.9k followers and 8.4M likes). His re-interpretations of great songs “songs written from the other perspective” have made such an impact that his version of Bruno Mars’ hit song ‘Talking to the Moon’ attracted 16.5M views alone. It saw Louis featured as TikTok’s nationwide billboard campaign “top 20 unsigned artists” on top of releasing three exciting dance collaborations with Kush Kush (Killer), SLVR & Offrami (Do Anything) and Nick Peters (All the Songs).

There’s an extra level of creativity in the output of Perfect Havoc seen so far this year from its trademark crossover dance sounds to tech house and afrobeat house. Having given rise to six UK Top 20 singles including the No.1 single ‘Head & Heart’ by four-time Brit Award nominated producer Joel Corry and MNEK, the question begs: where will the label head next?

With a talent-packed schedule for 2022 that also features releases from Just Kiddin, PS1, Freejak, James Hurr and many more, Perfect Havoc is guaranteed to serve up a ton of new accessible and underground house sounds from both breaking and established talent.

Simon Field x Adam Griffin x James Hurr – You On Red (Feat. Aya Anne) (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, House, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“The beat shakes your body and those sensual vocals can set you on fire. When four artistic minds work together, the result cannot be indifferent at all. Maximize the volume and let this EDM banger do its job in the most effective way!”

-Nagamag.com

Producer extraordinaries, Simon Field, Adam Griffin and James Hurr have dropped the immense sounding ‘You In Red (feat. Aya Anne)’ on London’s hit-machine, Perfect Havoc. A disco-tinged deep house tune with rolling bassline, it brings together each producer’s unique touch: the analogue sound from Field’s studio, the contagious rhythms of Griffin, and Hurr as a master at work. Stream it now https://PerfectHavoc.lnk.to/youonred.

Simon Field is an awarded producer and songwriter based in Oslo, Norway with a distinct sound produced entirely through analogue gear. His releases on Perfect Havoc include ‘Is It Real?’ with Tobtok & Oliver Nelson feat. Salena Mastronnani (8 million streams), ‘Shake The Tree’ (18 million streams), and ‘Wildfire’ feat. Andreya Triana (3.6 million streams).

Champions of Field’s sound span DJ A-listers Tiësto, Hardwell, David Guetta, and Benny Benassi, while over on the Big Screen and TV, his music has been featured in the Academy Award nominated film, Passengers, and in the Netflix series Elite. With 80 million global streams to his name and the curator behind the Ibiza Deep House playlist on Spotify with over 500,000 fans, Field is a constant force in creating original and modern sounds.

Producing alongside Field is Perfect Havoc co-founder and producer, Adam Griffin. Alongside Robert Davies, Griffin has steered Perfect Havoc into one of the most in-demand independent labels around, underlined by platinum certified releases and generating over three billion global streams. His contagious house cuts include ‘The Sting’ and ‘The Stand Off’ (BBC Radio 1 Future Anthem) and ‘Don’t Over Think It’ produced with house icon Todd Terry.

Also on the lineup here is rising superstar James Hurr. His credits as a production and mixing engineer are an impressive ‘who’s who’ of the UK’s best-known dance talents. Hurr is behind Mark Knight’s ‘Yebisah’ and Prok & Fitch’s ‘Wow’, plus dozens of tracks, collabs and remixes with Michael Gray and Frederick & Kusse to name just two. Toolroom Record’s Mark Knight said that Hurr “was on fire” and the man wasn’t wrong. Hurr’s Perfect Havoc debut ‘Jump In’ with legendary DJ Michael Gray was so well received that it was played for 8 straight weeks on BBC Radio 1’s Party Anthems.

The sumptuous vocals on ‘You On Red’ come courtesy of Aya Anne. Signed to Perfect Havoc Management, the 22-year-old from West Sussex first appeared on the label as a feature with Pink Panda on ‘Only Love’. Her song writing skills take ‘You In Red’ down the narrative of leaving your lover on the dancefloor both literally and figuratively. Together with production of Field, Griffin and Hurr, Aya Anne gives the track an emotive and refined quality to get truly lost in.

With a talent-packed schedule for 2022 that also features releases from Just Kiddin, PS1, Wankelmut, Tobtok and Freejak, Perfect Havoc is guaranteed to serve up a ton of new accessible and underground house sounds from both breaking and established talent.

Faybl – Island (Spotify)

Categories: Audio, Pop, The Latest|Tags: , , , , |

“Every time you find yourself in the middle of a storm, music will be your rescue island. Bright, energetic, alive and kicking creation from the experienced "Faybl". Keep your mood high with this EDM dynamic sound and its supportive lyrics too.”

-Nagamag.com

American startup duo Faybl's newest release - "Island," will take you back to the cathartic, high-energy dance anthems of the early 2010s in the best way possible. The duo's signature sound is on stunning display with the new track, which opens with soulful vocals belting out heartfelt lyrics like "even if it hurts, even if the tides turn violent, I will be your island." Faybl slowly build into a goosebump-inducing drop full of big room energy and soaring melodies that make this gem into a tearjerker on the festival stage. Whether you're a newbie to the scene or a tried and true veteran, this track about offering support to each other during hard times is sure to ignite your emotions and your dancing shoes. Read on for the artists' inspiration behind the track:

"In a time when many people in our lives and around the world are facing a lot of adversity, we feel it's more important than ever to emphasize being there to build up and support your friends and loved ones. Much of our current culture is so focused on showing what we have and trying to present the best versions of ourselves that we can often neglect building sound support systems and making sure we participate in supporting those we care about. We wanted to create a house tune with influences from artists like Illenium and Seven Lions to create an emotional yet powerful and fresh take on progressive house and festival culture. We hope this song will inspire people to reach out to their friends and family and remind them how much they appreciate them. Life is short, and we often take the life and people we have while trying to chase something else for granted. We first played this song at the end of our set at Red Rocks opening for Illenium, which is a venue that we had been dreaming of playing from the moment we started making music. With the incredible crowd response, we decided that it should be the song to kick off 2022 with this new sound."

Faybl is a US-based duo out of Denver, Colorado, already making waves with fans and industry tastemakers alike. Artist said about this song:

"This track is basically me daydreaming about surfing. There's something equally fascinating and horrifying about the ocean and waves in particular. It's a source of tremendous joy, passion, and adrenaline, but it can crush you in an instant if you get sloppy. For me, this song would be the perfect soundtrack for the time when a kite surfing session ends: a bunch of friends drinking a few beers on the beach in the sunset."
