“Are You Still?” by Kylan Daffy | Rock Song Review

Music Review:

“Στο Are You Still, ο Kylan Daffy επενδύει στα φωνητικά με τρόπο σχεδόν εξομολογητικό, συνδυάζοντας ευαισθησία και πάθος σε μια ερμηνεία που κουβαλά το συναισθηματικό βάρος του κομματιού.

Lyrics of Kylan Daffy – Are You Still?

[Chorus]As the world begins to sink,
You pull me by my sleeve bloodstained
You tell me I should get some sleep
Well isn’t that just irony

[Verse 1}
Rewind,
Playing in my mind
Forced, Thighs,
Held me paralysed
Sent high,
Just to fall right back down below
(Fall back below)

[Pre-Chorus]And I’m still drowning in the undertow
And I’m still drowning but you’ll never know

[Chorus] [Verse 2}
Sheets, Hide
Secrets in which I
Confide,
Purple and blues that we
Can’t, side
Can’t see how you justify
Pulling me back below

[Pre-Chorus]And I’m still drowning in the undertow
And I’m still drowning here because of you
And I’m still drowning in the undertow
And I’m still drowning but you’ll never know

[Chorus] [Bridge]Can someone tell me how
(And I’m still drowning in the undertow)
When the lens goes unfocused,
manage to feel the grip tightening more than ever,
Leaving a mark on your precious flesh
(And I’m still drowning here because of you)
And when the early sun rises,
interrupting the darkest of your dreams
You have to still ask yourself
ARE YOU STILL DROWNING IN THE UNDERTOW?

[Guit. Solo] [Chorus] [Outro]As the world begins to sink,
You pull me right back in
