“It All Looks A Little Different Now” by Micae | Rock Song Review

Music Review:

“Στο “It All Looks A Little Different Now”, η Micae παραδίδει μια ροκ μπαλάντα που μοιάζει να αιωρείται ανάμεσα στη νοσταλγία και τη σιωπηλή αναγέννηση.

Lyrics of Micae – It All Looks A Little Different Now

Draw the blinds every morning
Even the one that faces
The concrete wall of my neighbours
It wasn’t always that way
Oh I could see down Hastings
Before this building rose
But it all looks a little different now
Some things are bound to change

Beets stain my hands wine red
They roast and I lay
Toes outstretched
The turning of a page
Learning how to feed a hunger stronger than the pain
But it all looks a little different now
You learn to make peace with change

Walked myself to that old spot
The beach across the railway
The taste of salt refreshing
And I could find my own way
Look for crabs under wet rocks
And skip stones across the waves

I wish you could see me now
I wish you could see me now
I wish you could see me now
I wish you could see me now
I wish you could see me
Now
