Song Review: “Carbon (Nikki’s Birthday Song ”1)” by Not the Pilot | A Rock Discovery

Music Review:

Lyrics of Not the Pilot – Carbon (Nikki’s Birthday Song ”1)

A want to be father –
Steps away from the alter
With these steps I won’t falter
Cause I’ve already won.
Breaking this silence –
Two mind’s intertwining
Every thought you’ve been finding
Feels like I held the same one.
Verse:
Breathe in the way where your gaze sends days away
Tracing our names in the sand of early grace
Laugh till our guts start to make the public stare.
Trace every dream to the origins of time
Though all is matter, your matter’s only mine
Laugh till our guts start to make the public stare.
Turns out we didn’t care.
Steallllling your breathe from the sky just to curse the stars
I’ll bend each exhale just to catch all your carrrbbbooonnn
Instrumental
Carvvvving my vows in the bones of your work of art and
I’ll take each stroke as good luck
Chorus
