Omerika was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina and lives in Venice (Italy). He has been passionate about electronic music since he was a child.

He start to playing as a Dj at the age of 16 years old in many clubs in Argentina and Uruguay.

At the age of 18 he started producing techno music.

The thematic turning point of the album occurs with Ding’s rendition of the standard deeply associated with Frank Sinatra: “My Way”. “My Way describes my love-hate relationship with music growing up,” Dings says. “Knowing at an early age that my parents would've never agreed to me pursuing music in college, I took music for granted after middle school but always had in the back of my mind the thought of releasing my own music one day, just to prove them wrong.” The timeless lyrics of the song echo many of the themes Ding had experienced in his own life, particularly as he turned from the familiar and jumped headfirst into the world of creative music. Reflecting ideas of turning regret into positivity and the rewarding end result of individualism, “My Way” provides an almost biographical anecdote for Ding as he champions the joy of finding fulfillment in creativity. The themes present in “My Way” are further explored in the corresponding narrative music video. Where many in the jazz world fall back on studio videos, Ding, as a part of his goal to inspire listeners from a broad genre background, put together a music video featuring a storyline. Utilizing two versions of the concept of self connected through time via a dancer, the video extrapolates on the themes present in both the song and the album, creating a unified call for the audience to pursue that which will give their life meaning.

“On Thunderclouds (We Ride) is a laid back homage to the past. A distinctly unique groove-based indie ballad inspired by genres such as 70’s Funk, Neo-Soul and even G-Funk.

Taken from his upcoming debut mini-album “Tunes From My Room”, it’s the second single from independent Scottish producer and artist Connor P.

The song speaks on loneliness, infidelity and self-esteem, with religious themes littered throughout. The lyrics are often seemingly quite simple, but there’s an ambiguous quality about them that feel rather mystic and enthralling.

The music video, which we’re told was directed and produced entirely by the artist, is another eulogy to the past. The influence of 1960’s horror classic “Psycho” is undeniable, the cinematography is very visually impressive, but the thing we liked the most was that the video didn’t take itself too seriously.”

Rising star Gorran releases new single ‘Are You Mine?’ – 10.06.22

On June 10th, London based alt-pop artist Gorran releases his emotive new single ‘Are You Mine?’. Mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer Dyre Gormsen, ‘Are You Mine?’ follows ‘I’m Sorry’ and is the second single taken from Gorran’s 7 track debut EP, ‘Grown Up’, set for release in July 2022.

The beautiful stripped-back track showcases Gorran’s raw talent, via an effortless pitch perfect vocal and melodic keys, as he recalls the desperation of trying to fix a broken relationship.

Gorran said about the singe “‘Are You Mine?’ is a song about fighting for a one-sided relationship. The lyrics came together really quickly to tell this story of one person desperate for the other to stay, but finding only isolation and misery at the hands of the person they love. It’s one of the most vocally challenging songs I’ve ever written but I’m glad I wrote it in the key that I did. It’s really hard-hitting.”

Gorran’s passion and flair for music was evident from a young age, where during his time at the prestigious BRIT School (alumni including Adele, Amy Winehouse, and Rex Orange County), he developed his distinctive sound and dynamic live show. Since graduating, Gorran has been writing and recording with industry professionals to produce original, bold and gritty pop tracks. Influenced by the likes of Post Malone, Lauv and Billie Eilish, Gorran strives to create music that oozes with real emotion.

The young musician continues to write and produce contemporary pop with dark undertones, which has been resonating with audiences across the globe since his debut Easy For You in July 2019. Follow up singles, 'Hush' and ‘I Don’t Love You Anymore’ both garnered commercial acclaim, and the artist's fanbase continues to grow boasting over 17k listeners and over 1.4 million streams on Spotify alone.

Gorran has seen success opening for KT Tunstall on her UK tour, performing to sold-out audiences across the nation, as well as having graced the stage at the legendary London Roundhouse. To support the release of his new EP, Gorran will be performing at Laylow in Notting Hill on July 7th, The Half Moon in Putney on July 11th, and The Bedford in Balham on July 27th, with more dates to be announced.
