The inspiration for the track came during a Full Flower Moon. After spending the only Christmas apart from a loved one, the artist wrote and recorded a medley of 12 songs, each dedicated to a month’s Full Moon. The series concluded with December’s song, “Full Cold Moon.” Now reimagined with a full band, the track features festive touches like sleigh bells and a whimsical trumpet, making it perfect for a holiday release.
The accompanying artwork showcases the artist taking a swim off the snowy beach of the North Pacific Ocean, setting the tone for a series of short-form videos planned to promote the single.

“Vicentina” is the second track from Lophae (pronounced “Lo-Fi”), a newly formed psychedelic jazz quartet led by guitarist and composer Greg Sanders. The group brings together some of Sanders’ favorite musicians to interpret his distinctive and compelling compositions.

Influences from the London alternative jazz and world music scenes—where all four members are active—shine through.
