Residuos Mentales – A Series of Self-Correcting Errors | Rock music review

“An unusual, expressive Progressive Rock track that attracts attention from the very beginning. Such a variety of arrangement and endless flow of instrumental parts, like a raging ocean, does not let you get bored. All you want to do is listen to every beat in order to fully absorb all the energy of this piece!”

Additional information/sources for Residuos Mentales – A Series of Self-Correcting Errors

Residuos Mentales is a studio project from Athens, Greece consisting of Stratos Morianos (keyboards, also member of Verbal Delirium) and Alexandros Mantas (guitars, flute) which was formed back in 2012. After putting together material intensively for four years, they ended up with abundant instrumental stuff, part of which was included in their debut album entitled “Introspection” released in digital form on the 28th of August 2018 and the physical one (CD) came out four months later on 14th of December. It was cinematic music, coupled with elements from Greek and electronic music, 70s progressive rock and anything else they deemed that would work well found its place in this endeavour. When Introspection was released, they delved into their previous, proggier and less acoustic material and began recording their second album (although the songs pre-existed Introspection). It took them five years to feel pleased with the final result and their conscience to give the green light. After the completion of the album, they signed to OOB Records and A Temporary State of Bliss was released on the 27th of October, 2023.
