Rotten – Ex Monarch

Rotten – Ex Monarch

“Catchy guitar riff from the start, pulls you into this song instantly. Her voice expands this rock song perfectly, but with that groove beats it sets the bar even higher. Electric guitar lead theme is pure power, like many old school ever greens, this song will be as well.”

Lyrics of Ex Monarch – Rotten

i feel like i see you for the first time
you’re miserable in this world
with half shut eyes

so when the rain came in
you drowned yourself in it
you let it win
you let it win
you let it win
and i wish you didn’t ‘cause it’s

eating me alive
and now i’m
rotting inside

And as I’m sinking into
I see you smile
the secret you’ve been keeping
Well I’ve made it mine

so when the shame sets in
i’ll drown myself in it
I’ll let it in
I’ll let it in
I’ll let it in
and I think I get it ‘cause it’s

eating me alive
now i’m rotting inside
waste away my life
is it worth the high

i feel like i see you
for the first time

eating me alive
and i’m rotting inside
waste away my life
is it worth the high
