The Friendly Antagonist is that annoying friend that always talks too much and say the most awkward things. Some would say it’s bipolar... but in the end, still your best friend.

The Friendly Antagonist is a part of the album Music from a Room which contains eight compositions for piano, performed by Kalle Stenbäcken.

Born of the profound desire to touch the souls of people and share with them a place for prayer, Music in the Quiet Room provides this sacred space utilizing the warmth and fluidity of a cello and piano. Drawing in the listener close, the album communicates the simplicity and intimate nature of private moments experienced in the home, in one's car, a gallery, a shelter or even a hospital bed.

The album, consisting of seven tracks, was recorded in the Galilee region of northern Israel. The tranquil town of Rosh Pina was conducive to the albums' intimate and retrospective nature. Music in the Quiet Room enhances the spacial awareness of the listener so that they may feel the eternal presence of peace.

The Ginkgo Biloba, also known as the 'tree of a thousand coins', is a tree that can live for more than a thousand years. _„This tree has been around for over 270 million years already, even before the dinosaurs, and will probably still be here after mankind may be gone.”_, Rone told us. This sense of permanence echoes the very nature of this new single from 'Room with A View', which carries all of Rone's DNA. The piece is set in a marvellous world where the abundance of sonorities seems to weave around a melody equally familiar as irresistible, before flying away to a choir of celestial voices.

Ruby is the third instalment of Devault’s audio-visual experience. After the gritty sounds of ‘Jade’, and the nostalgia brought on by ‘Sapphire’, Ruby takes on a more futuristic approach. A clash of 80’s like vocals with a new dark sound. Featuring collaborations with The Bloody Beetroots and Power Glove, Ruby captures the true sonic nature of Devault and his world. Darkness, tension, and release. Ruby altogether is 6 songs accompanied by a 10 minute short film divided into 3 episodes. As you take in the project and it’s visual piece, Devault’s desire to create a unique footprint in the electronic scene is taking hold.

A personal quote from Devault: “Ruby to me is full plunge into the world I’ve always wanted to rest in. This dark soundscape accompanied by an over-dramatic film piece is something I’ve had in my head for a very long time, but could never find the perfect timing. The songs are mature, but hold nothing back, and I think that will be seen as you hear each record.

zariah – Beautifully Ugly
(Spotify)

The song is about how you put your trust into someone and give them your love and friendship but it's treated like it is nothing. It incorporates the fact that the world notices the struggles people go through but choose to ignore them, while some people help many go through society with their eyes closed. It is a song for change.

The song is made of a sparse arrangement of piano and guitar while the vocal range is in the mezzo soprano.
