Blooy says about his latest work: “’School is out’ takes you back to your childhood. Reminiscing the moment when the last school bell rang, and freedom beckoned. For one child it meant six weeks of sheer joy, while the other had to cope with difficult home situations or prolonged loneliness.”

Blooy captures this mood in his distinctive style of writing and producing music. This time it’s a blend of lo-fi and grungy vibes. “School is out” slows down time, just like the first weeks of the holidays never seemed to end. Ceremonia (“Ceremony”) is the first collaborative release between singer songwriter Luvi Torres, and producer Chancha Vía Circuito. Combining exceptional voicework with powerful creative rhythms typical of Chancha, the lyrics include mantras Luvi uses in their therapeutic exercises, thereby immersing us in a healing musical world.

Taken as a whole, the album’s four tracks, Abro (“I Open”), Creo (“I Believe” or “I Create”), Sano (“I Heal”), Amo (“I Love”) encourage sensitive receptivity. Luvi’s vocals are enveloped by lush ambient dub. Chancha’s rhythms and vibrations create a comforting and calming soundscape that invites a sense of timelessness and expansion.

On her new EP Étoile out October 27th via FLAU, Noah continues takes things into denser territory, rich with atmosphere and a healthy dose of mysterious mode without sacrificing the unmistakable rhythms she's become known for. Following the first single "Moonchild", today Noah shares the EP opener "Rosa Alba", a track that sends a delicious mix of golden-age Ninja Tune and sliced up piano down the hatch.

The Hokkaido-born musician Noah has changed her constantly seen her sound evolving since the release of her 2015 album Sivutie. While she described it as "a sonic vision of a daydream scene,” 2019’s Thirty contained a mysterious, vapor-wave-like atmosphere that functioned as a gateway to Tokyo’s urban world. While also incorporating the delicious minimalism of 80's Hong Kong pop, Noah finally realized what she really wanted to express during the challenging first year of the pandemic.

Growing up in Hokkaido, an idyllic snowy place and Japan’s northernmost island. The environment, as it would, had a deep impact on Noah—and it’s her surroundings that inform her music to this day.

Benjamin Noti is a Basel-based producer and musician. He has worked with Audio Dope, Steff la Cheffe, The Rumours, Greis, Noti Wümié, Manillio, Anna Rossinelli, James Gruntz, Sam Himself, and the Basel Symphony Orchestra, among many others.

easing is Noti’s first instrumental solo-production. The recent lockdown afforded the highly sought-after songwriter and instrumentalist an opportunity to craft this production at his home studio. The 5-song EP showcases Noti’s wide-ranging abilities as a songwriter and musician, and draws on his rich experience as a fixture in the Swiss scene. Noti’s diverse influences, unified by his distinct, original style, shine through on lead single “85km/h”; an ode to poised motion, the track pulsates, subtly speeds up and slows down but remains ultimately unstoppable - much like the artist himself.

clear eyes is the passion project of of producer Jeremy Lloyd, the non-vocal half of Marian Hill. Delving deeper into electronic layering and palettes, the clear eyes project is a way for Lloyd to tap into a different mood, making music with beauty as its first priority and conjuring feelings of serenity and peace.

Still in recovery from a traumatic injury to both his wrists that rendered him unable to make music for 4 months, Jeremy is positively overflowing with creativity and has executive produced 3 albums that will all release this year (Marian Hill, Reo Cragun, and Clear eyes). “everything i’m missing” features the always-crystalline vocal stylings of his Marian Hill partner, Samantha Gongol. The first adjective that comes to mind with this track is “breezy”. From the sampled acoustic guitar plucks to Samantha’s vocals, there’s an unassuming swagger that is only compounded by simple beats that know exactly what their duty is.

As Lloyd puts it, “As a producer, you always have so many ideas that never make it to a release.” clear eyes is his opportunity to finally bring those sounds to our ears.

With all these song ideas now taking fruition, clear eyes is releasing an album that is filled to the brim with features. Feeling for Two includes features from a diverse array of artists — Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui, T.H.E.Y.’s Drew Love, indie-pop duo Slenderbodies, Bay-area rapper Rexx Life Raj, pop crooner Ayelle, frequent Flume-collaborator Reo Cragun, Lorem-favorite Nolie, electronic producers Tennyson and Lophiile, up and coming songwriter Roísin Marie, and of course, longtime collaborator Samantha Gongol of Marian Hill.
