life breath is a textural, instrumental meditation on collective loss and rebirth. It is the second track on my forthcoming EP "elegy" (due out March 12, 2021). Fun additional fact: I am a sound designer for Ableton, the Germany-based electronic software/hardware company. I design midi instrument pre-sets for their digital audio workstation, Ableton Live. One of my recent creations is a midi pre-set in the "Drone Lab" sound pack (which was released alongside Ableton Live 11) called "lifebreath." I designed this drone-y sound as I was indulging in this instrumental meditation, and I wanted to share it with Ableton users and music creators around the world.

In August 2013, Zachary released his debut album, Before the Rain, which reached #37 on the New Age charts. Kathy Parsons, of MainlyPiano.com called the collection of original solo piano pieces “amazing music and an extraordinary beginning to a very promising career in music.” After being introduced to piano lessons at age 6, music composition almost instantly caught Zachary’s interest. And it wasn’t long before he was attempting to scribble down melodies and riffs onto homemade staff-paper. While composition came naturally to Zach, it took the constant encouragement of family and friends to finally persuade him to record his first album of his original compositions. Finally, after over 4 years of practicing, composing, and putting the final touches on the pieces, Zachary released his debut album of 12 original piano solos out into the world. The album would be titled, Before the Rain (2013). It did not take long before he saw an interest for his music, and a year later, he released his second album, Dawn Light (2014), which was promptly nominated and awarded 2015 Album of the Year by Whisperings Solo Piano Radio (2016). Zachary is currently working on his third solo piano album scheduled for release in late fall of 2018.

"This track was created after a free form recording session with friend and cellist Raphael Weinroth-Browne. I recorded Raphael improvising for a couple hours in several different keys and styles and then compiled the recordings into a sample library. I then chopped and layered sections of the of the recordings to create a rich soundscape of strings and pads that float gently underneath bubbling arpeggios."

The fundament for this track was a rather hateful speech by one of our angry world leaders which I sampled an tried to turn into something beautiful. The result is this peaceful piano piece, which is essentially a loop, supplemented by drifitng synths, haunting cello’s and guitar. We can turn hate into beauty. Because we’re all together in this world and we’re here to love.

“You & I Would Die” is a 4 song debut EP set for release on February 26th, 2021. The songs trace the arc of a romance destined to end too soon, the victim of circumstance and cross-country moves. This song is inspired by an astronauts trip to space. It opens with a slow rise that signifies the anticipation before take off and grows into a wall of sound catapulting the listener gently through the earths atmosphere and into the weightlessness of space. SINE is a music project created by Thomas Hauser. Having released two albums, one EP, numerous remixes and being part of several high-class chillout/electronic compilations SINE belongs to the most active and established artists of his genre. Both albums “RUHEPOL” and “TIEFBLAU” reached top positions in various download- and CD charts. Further SINE’s music is played in well-known radiostations all over the world that are focussing on chillout and electronic music.

The musical career of Thomas Hauser started in his early childhood. He had several years of accordion lessons and later switched to keyboard. He didn’t want to focus on keyboard instruments only though which made him pick up the guitar, learning it all by himself.

He played in many different bands of different styles of music, e.g. pop, indie, punk, grunge and much more. Nevertheless he now and then needed time for himself to calm down and relax all by himself in the studio. That was the first slight hint of his future project SINE.

In 1997 he and his brother Jochen Hauser founded the production company COSMIC SOUND having their own studio and being music publisher. Many CDs of many different genres have been recorded and published there. Thomas Hauser also worked on other chillout projects which have been released on various labels. By now Thomas Hauser can look back on over 100% releases.

2008 was the year of SINE’s start. A fresh and independant project with its specially newly founded music label SINE MUSIC. The first release was the EP “CROSS THAT LINE” that caused a real stir in the chillout and ambient scene. Some songs of this EP have been played in radio stations all over the world and reached many of the genre’s relevant charts.

After these first great successes Thomas Hauser produced new songs that have been released on numerous SINE MUSIC compilations.

In December 2014 the day had finally arrived when SINE released his first album “RUHEPOL”. The album was in the German chillout charts for over six months as well as in the top ten of several download stores like iTunes. The CD was available with an included photobook. Another passion of Thomas Hauser. Photography. The photobook was sold out after just one month.

In November 2016 SINE’s second album “TIEFBLAU” was released as CD and download. SINE’s love for the oceans in this world lies in every tone of “TIEFBLAU”. A very multifaceted album presenting SINE songs of the last two years. The blue colour of the oceans is the colour of calming down and relaxation for SINE

In January 2018 SINE has released his new single “Stupid Minds“ in which you can hear him sing for the first time. A journey in musical unknown waters.

In March Sine Music has released the Remix EP Part 1 and April Part 2 of Stupid Minds. Including remixes by Thomas Lemmer, Glint, Silky Wave, Gold Lounge and many more.

SINE reappears on the screen in January 2019 with a new single „Save Me“
