Single Review: cold for june – This Town | Listen to Rock

Music Review:

“cold for june – “This Town” captures the restless spirit of youthful rock through a sound that feels expansive without losing its emotional focus. The vocals immediately stand out, pairing a vibrant, youthful tone with a commanding delivery that gives the performance both urgency and conviction. Around them, the melody steadily widens its scope, balancing raw intensity with an anthemic sense of release. Driven by a fast-moving, propulsive rhythm, the track never loses its momentum, transforming its kinetic energy into a liberating rush that feels equally cathartic and exhilarating.”

Lyrics of cold for june – This Town

None of this is feeling right
It was always black and white
No grey in the in between
So it might just seem
That I’m loosing sight
Of days to come that I can’t yet face
Reminded of what I can’t erase
They say to keep your head up come might

So I try to

Move on
Forget
And rid of
The regret
Still it brings me right back to the ground
Always seeing you

Everywhere I go in this town
And the only way you pull me is down
When you found the things we had in someone else
Still healing when you’re not around
And everywhere I go, I’m seeing you in this damn town

In this town

So much that was left unsaid that
Never will be heard all
Now there’s someone else in stead it
Was hard enough to break the fall
So I’m forced to cope ways I can’t explain
Another glass just to numb the pain
It’s like I have my head up then not quite

When I try to

Move on
Forget
And rid of
The regret and
Still it brings me right back to the ground

Always seeing you

This damn town
In this town
In this town
In this town

Everywhere I go
I’m seeing you in this damn town
