Hostage in My Home – Terje Gravdal

“Very distinctive style, beautiful vocals, strong and vibrant. Recording is nice, clear and very smooth. Arrangement is done so well, with a perfect flow and story telling. The song is put together very well overall. It’s definitely something that needs to be heard. ”

Artist said about this song: “Hostage in my Home ft Frida Hidle Gravdal is dedicated to my late aunt and for all those who lives as hostages in their homes. In 1997 she wrote the first sentence in her diary; “A life in hell and anxiety”. This was the first of her 38 diaries. She was a hostage because she was forced to take care of her two very sick sons. Both were heavy psychiatric patients. She had a hard struggle. Today, one of her two sick sons is dead. Her other psychotic son killed a random lady with an ax in Haugesund graveyard some years ago. This song is to remember her struggle to gain peace of mind.”
