Jens Rude – Where Light Begins | Rock Review

Music Review:

“On “Where Light Begins,” Jens Rude crafts an atmosphere that balances between melancholic introspection and restrained emotional release. The vocals, charged yet never excessive, act as a narrative axis, drawing the listener into a story that feels almost tangible. The melody unfolds patiently, building a subtle, underlying tension, while the electric guitar slips in discreetly, leaving sharp traces that resonate deeply. The rhythm remains steady, nearly hypnotic, until the moments it fractures, delivering those brief, cathartic peaks.”

Lyrics of Jens Rude – Where Light Begins

After the winter, the birds sing again,
Light spills through the shadows, like a lover’s refrain,
Creeping through the cracks, where darkness used to lie,
Bright summer nights are here, as the cold winds sigh.

All that winter carried, now buried in the past,
So easy to forget, when the spell breaks fast.
But my heart knows well what it wants to find,
To be seen by you, to be yours entwined.

The light has returned, you’re here by my side,
The warmth of the days, like a beautiful tide,
The light is back, it’s shining clear,
With you close to me, my dear, my dear.

After the silence of the dark night’s embrace,
The sounds start to murmur, filling up the space,
Worlds come alive, with parasols and sun,
Waves paint the shores, where the rivers run.

I had my house full of wind, new fruits on the wing,
But my heart knows well what it wishes to bring.
To be seen by you, oh, it’s the sweetest song,
In this vibrant light, I’ve been waiting long.

The light has returned (Solo)

The light has returned, you’re here by my side,
The warmth of the days, like a beautiful tide,
The light is back, it’s shining clear,
With you close to me, my dear, my dear
