Release Critique: Last Train to Juarez – Eye for an Eye | Rock Review

Music Review:

Lyrics of Last Train to Juarez – Eye for an Eye

I cut a man down in his tracks
Now he’s dead
And I don’t feel anything at all

Though I am glad
The man is gone
Didn’t deserve his life to carry on

I know that what I did was wrong
It won’t be long
Till the law catches up to me someday

I’ll gladly wait
For my judgement day
For I know that hell awaits
Yes I know that hell awaits

I’ll take the law into my hands
And shoot the man right where he stands
He ain’t brought no good to this world, the man can’t stay
I’ll follow him down to the depths of hell, to see in hell he pays

There won’t be witnesses this time
He’ll be the victim of this crime
I’ll break across those lines which bound us and moralize
Ain’t no way he’s walking free, this time he’ll pay the price

I’ll tell the judge I’ll do the time
I still believe eye for an eye
I’ll do to them as done to mine
I’ll carry that on my soul

I’ll tell the judge I’ll do the time
I still believe eye for an eye
I’ll do to them as done to mine
I’ll carry that on my soul
I’ll carry that heavy toll

I’ll tell the judge I’ll do the time
I still believe eye for an eye
I’ll do to them as done to mine
I’ll carry that on my soul

I’ll tell the judge I’ll do the time
I still believe eye for an eye
I’ll do to them as done to mine
I’ll carry that on my soul
I’ll carry that heavy toll

I cut a man down in his tracks
Now he’s dead
And I don’t feel anything at all
