Matthew Steven Whitaker – HOW IT USED TO BE – Matthew Steven Whitaker – HOW IT USED TO BE | Essential Rock Review
Music Review:
“The beautiful, tender melody of “How It Used to Be” by Matthew Steven Whitaker feels like the kind of companion that stays with us through both the bright and difficult moments. The vocals, with their warm expression and clear, intimate tone, create an immediate sense of familiarity, carrying an effortless grace that never feels forced. Meanwhile, the song’s gentle, uplifting rhythm gradually brightens our mood, turning nostalgia into something lighter and more hopeful. It is a quietly comforting track that makes optimism feel natural.”
