Hailing from New York’s Hudson Valley, singer-songwriter James Lombardo took his dark modern folk sound to Ventura, CA, where he launched the project One Hundred Paces. Their debut EP, released by Wednesday Records, gained traction with the single “The Rise and Fall,” featured on several network television shows. The band’s latest single, “N.Y.C.,” was released on February 14 and recorded by Elliott Lanham at Hidden City Studios. The current lineup includes James Lombardo (vocals, guitar), Ed Kasper (guitar), Colin Kately (bass), David Shore (drums), and Mike Etchart (keys). Recommended for fans of Death Cab for Cutie, Jason Isbell, and Iron & Wine.
