Mannen’s created on the same riddim (instrumental) as One Bagga Shh!. It’s an energetic dance song with flavors from dancehall, afropop and reggae. The song is performed by Jamkid from Rågsved, Stockholm. Jamkid got the name from his parents who saw that Jombo (his real name) hummed and danced to dancehall and reggae, and give him the name “the jaming kid”, later Jamkid. Mannen’s all about loyalty and suburban friendship that leads to disappointments. Boys often call each other “brother”, “fam”, “akhi” and so on, men who later get into the backside of the street with money, hype or drugs, they turn their backs on each other. Instead of remembering that you belong together and have shared moments and successes.

The word “Mannen” means something like an upset: “Hey, what are you doing!”

PAPA SOUND is a Swedish producer duo focused on creating bass driven, dancehall, afrobeat, and reggae tunes. Founded by Patrik Arve and Paolo Albo, Papa Sound became a duo in the year 2020. The name PAPA comes from their given names initials Paolo Albo and Patrik Arve. In their songs, they vent the issues and passions they have in common, from social injustice or environmental issues to just their love for music

Les derniers vestiges is the fifth track off of Ink Sticks & Stones' latest EP release called Après la tombée du ciel. The album is a complete journey from chaotic and epic, to calm and minimal, exploring what happens once the world has ended.

Les derniers vestiges is a duet between a piano and a cello. Both melancholic with moments of hope, they recall memories of what used to be as they exchange back and forth the melody. It is an intimate song great for daydreaming, looking back on the past, while reading a book or studying, or simply getting lost in another world for a few minutes.

The music video represents the recall of this past life by exploring the remnants of what humans left behind under the risen sea after the end of the world. Entirely made using UnReal's video game engine (an unconventional technology for music videos), it is an animation as relaxing as the song itself.

John Hayes is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

John’s musical journey began after receiving formal piano training during his youth. With a penchant for non-traditional styles and playing techniques, his tendency to get into trouble with his instructors grew over the years. At a young age, he was destined to become a sonic explorer, attune to the more uninhibited musical environments.

In 2018, John released his debut solo album, By The Woods, a collection of sparse, muted piano compositions that saw glimmers of the artist’s vision. In 2020, he followed this up with The Last Best Place, a powerfully tender album devoted to a friend who had passed away. The somber atmosphere and cathartic energy are palpable over the eleven songs.

Later that year, Hayes’ next project was a collaborative effort with Maxy Dutcher, putting out Borealis on Moderna Records. The release saw Hayes expand on his spacious piano compositions and move into a more intricate layered harmonic territory full of neo-classical stylings and electronic influences ranging from trance to experimental dance.

John finished off an illuminating 2020 with a second collaboration, this time with fellow Minnesota composer and producer Eiskavon called Du Nord released on Western Vinyl. The two artists met through the Minneapolis music scene and became quick confidants, as a few songs turned into an EP before blossoming into a full-length album. Taking cues from influences spanning Chopin to Eno, the duo provided the perfect soundscape for the Midwestern winter.

Hayes' music has won the support of notable tastemakers, including KEXP, BBC, and James Heather's Soho Radio show "Moving Sounds." He also previously served regularly as the resident pianist for the award-winning Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

John currently writes, records, and produces music from his studio in Denver, Colorado.
