Australian pop singer-songwriter Madison shares her latest single ‘Without You Tonight’ out now on all streaming platforms.
‘Without You Tonight’ showcases Madison at her most vulnerable. She has used this single as a way to release her pent up emotions from previous toxic relationships to create a song that is beautifully relatable.
Talking about the single Madison says, “Being vulnerable, open and trusting isn’t something that comes easily to me, and feeling reliant on someone else makes me extremely uncomfortable. I wanted to challenge myself, to figure out why & maybe do some healing – what better way to do that than to write a damn song! & in the process of writing WYT, I became unafraid of those feelings. I’m a strong believer in just going for things in life, asking for what you want & taking a risk. And I think the best way to turn something into a power is to claim it and own it.
After toxic romantic situations in my past, I’d learned to be super nonchalant & hide my feelings. This song is me breaking down that wall & being honest. I’ll also say, there was definitely someone I had feelings for behind the inspo. At the end of the day, I just wanted to create a passionate & honest love song. You only live once. Be wild, open and honest when you’re in love.”
‘Without You Tonight’ came to life in Madison’s home studio in Canberra. She wrote, recorded and arranged the demo of the track there herself. In the intimate and cosy studio, she spent hours deep into the night laying down the melody and lyrics and layering harmonies for the song. It was one of several demos in a playlist of ideas she sent to producer Oliver Lundstrom to work on, and they both felt this track would be the perfect track to introduce Madison to the world.
Up-and-coming Australian Pop sensation Madison is ready to bewitch you with her enchantingly powerful voice, and a wicked skill for crafting catchy, soul-stirring melodies. For six years, this young Recording Artist and Songwriter has been travelling the globe, collaborating with writers & producers from LA to London, Amsterdam to Stockholm - writing pop songs for herself and other artists, finding her voice & honing her skill.
Her bold European-like sound is influenced by the drama of cinematic orchestra, 80's rock band anthemic melodies, a hint of unapologetic electronic Artpop like Lady Gaga - and wild soundscapes akin to Florence + the machine. Outside of writing, recording and arranging her own music, she works with writer and producer Oliver Lundstrom (James Arthur, producer X Factor UK, Faouzia) to bring her striking universal tunes to life. She made her Debut last year with her first single ‘Indiana’, followed by the powerful ballad ‘What Did I Do to You’, which lead her to be selected as a Semi-Finalist for the 2020 International Songwriting Competition (both tracks produced by Oliver Lundstrom, and written & recorded by Madison).

Camille Harris, David Linard – The Nearness of You (Spotify)
“Music that is harmoniously alternating with lyrical, thoughtful vocals. That so romantic, sincere and sensual melody won't leave anyone indifferent. We choose to listen such songs with our eyes closed, in order to feel all their peace and serenity.”
“Подобная музыка гармонично чередуется с лирическим, вдумчивым вокалом. Мелодия настолько романтичная, искренняя и чувственная, что не оставит равнодушным никого. Такие произведения хочется слушать с закрытыми глазами, чтобы ощутить всю их лёгкость и безмятежность.”

After supporting Gregory Porter at The Royal Albert Hall, GEORGIA CÉCILE is set to share her hypnotic new single ‘BITTERSWEET’
Georgia Cécile – Bittersweet (out on Warner/ADA now)
Taken from the top 3 selling album ‘Only The Lover Sings’: https://ada.lnk.to/Georgia-Cecile
One of Jazz’s hottest new prospects, singer/songwriter Georgia Cécile is building a reputation as one of the UK’s one to watch talents. Off the back of a whirlwind couple of months which has seen the Scottish artist release her debut album to critical acclaim and support Gregory Porter on four of his shows at London’s Royal Albert Hall, she’s now set to release her latest single taken from the album.
Showcasing her long-term songwriting partnership with award-winning pianist/composer Euan Stevenson, ‘Bittersweet’ is an emotive hypnotic song that explores the tensions of a volatile yet deeply passionate romantic relationship. Lyrically, the song uses the dark, vast ocean as a metaphor for the hazards of love as Georgia laments “Lost in reeds, we drift with the tide”. The song deploys rich cinematic strings and a mesmeric piano riff that emulates the ebb and flow of the tide, the lush instrumentation framing Cécile’s supple vocals, the poetic lyricism and modal melodies always the focal point.
Tipped as ‘One To Watch’ by BBC Introducing and Jazz FM, Cécile’s debut album “Only The Lover Sings”, released in September, topped the Official UK Jazz Album charts at No.3 and has been championed by the likes of Jamie Cullum and Gregory Porter in recent weeks. The album, which is enjoying its 7th week in the top 30 is influenced by the likes of Nancy Wilson and Stevie Wonder, whilst Cécile also sites contemporaries like; Melody Gardot and Celeste as inspiration for her sound. Tracks from the album have been featured in major playlists at Spotify, Apple and Amazon and has been nominated for ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2021 Scottish Jazz Awards.
‘Bittersweet’ follows other singles from the project including; ‘Come Summertime’, ‘He Knew How To Love’ and ‘Always Be Right’ – which have picked up plenty of media support ranging from BBC Radio 2, BBC Introducing and Jazz FM to The Independent and Wonderland Magazine. Also this year, Georgia marked International Women’s Day by performing live for the BBC’s Jazz Nights show and she was included in Jazzwise’s ‘Women In Jazz’ feature that day.
Cécile’s UK 2021 album tour includes some of her biggest shows to date: the opening Gala for the prestigious London Jazz Festival at The Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre with the Guy Barker Orchestra, her sold out debut at the infamous Ronnie Scotts, and Edinburgh’s famous Queen’s Hall which will be her official album launch concert.

Djakarta, Keilimei – Looking for Attention (Acoustic) (Spotify)
“Love the poetic vibe to this acoustical piece. We really enjoyed the dualities of the content expressed artfully. A get up and do something kind of tune, very fluent and full of colors. ”
-Nagamag.com
French-Australian duo Djakarta are set to release Looking for Attention (Acoustic), their new single featuring Hawaiian singer Keilimei on their label LyreBirds Records.
Driven by an offbeat folk guitar and flirty come-hither lyrics sung from an alternating male-female point of view, their track is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to singlehood and the false sense of freedom and fear of commitment that come with endless one-night-stands

Brazilian Singer-Songwriter Thaís Gulin Makes U.S. Debut with Sultry New Single ‘quar3ntine – a valentine in the quarantine’
Gulin Addresses Politics, Love, and Social Issues with Artful Video Filmed by Neighbors During Quarantine in Copacabana
Renowned Brazilian songstress and actress Thaís Gulin has released her quarantine-inspired single “quar3ntine – a valentine in the quarantine.” The avant-garde video for her American debut was filmed remotely in May of 2020, during a time when the once lively city of Rio de Janeiro, became deserted due to the coronavirus pandemic. Gulin channels her free spirit in her first release since her 2013 hit, “Cinema Big Butts.” Gulin was lovestruck at the beginning of the pandemic, but also disgusted by the outlandish behavior of her country’s president.

“When COVID-19 first hit Brazil, we watched President Bolsonaro carelessly mishandle the pandemic by allowing the virus to rapidly spread throughout the country. He seemed to enjoy it,” explains Gulin. “He would encourage people to disregard public health guidelines such as wearing masks and staying six feet apart, and would publicly mingle with his supporters by shaking their hands and hugging them. This is a political song disguised as a love song. It’s like if the emergency of love was running in parallel to the despair of political happenings.”
Gulin appointed her neighbor as director of photography, who also doubled as her cameraman. The video cascades through various scenes of Gulin intimately singing to her audience of one, while creatively layering in stunning backdrops of the vacant coasts of Rio de Janeiro, giving the video both a multidimensional and observational feel.
