Success and missteps along the way.
I got the luxury of reflections. In spite of mis-directions.
Some shocked I’m still here today.

Been discounted forever. Some people saying never.
But they couldn’t be more wrong.
They simply could not see, all that I could be,
when I’d really been that all along.

So don’t count me out, don’t say game over, while there’s still time on the clock.
I’m sure as hell not done. I ain’t gonna run. Fact is, I prefer to walk the talk.

A lack of Confidence, creates their hesitance.
We ought to give‘em more of what they need.
Diamonds in the rough, and stars surrounding us. Hidden in the mud and the sands. Amazing what we find, when we open-up our minds,
and allow for deviations in our plans.

So don’t count us out, don’t say game over, while there’s still time on the clock.

Hats off to the good folks, who see possibilities, in those roughed-up by life’s scars
