Colab Production Review: Sinatic x Meeduza – Almost Yours

Music Review:

Lyrics of Sinatic x Meeduza – Almost Yours

We said forever like it was cheap
Like a word you say before you sleep
You traced your doubts on my back
Like you knew where this would crack
I memorized your quiet tells
The way goodbye started to smell
Like summer rain on borrowed days
Warm at first, then washed away
Oh Oh Oh
We were almost right, almost true
Almost honest, almost you
Oh Oh Oh
Every love leaves something behind
I lost you, but I found my spine
Yeah, we were close, but not in time
Almost yours, but never mine
I see your face in different lives
Same mistakes, new alibis
You chase a feeling, not a name
I was real, that’s why I changed
You said I made it all too deep
But depth’s the only thing I keep
I don’t hate you, that’s the curse
Loving you could’ve been worse
Oh Oh Oh
We were almost right, almost true
Almost honest, almost you
Oh Oh Oh Every love leaves something behind
I lost you, but I found my spine
Yeah, we were close, but not in time
Almost yours, but never mine
Oh Oh Oh
Almost yours, but never mine
If I ever cross your mind at night
I hope it hurts, but feels alright
Not enough to call my name
Just enough to know I stayed
Oh Oh Oh
We were almost right, almost brave
Almost something worth the pain

Oh Oh Oh I don’t regret the line we drew
I just wish you’d crossed it too
Yeah, we were close, but not aligned
Almost yours, but never mine
never mine
Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh
never mine
Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh Oh
Oh Oh Oh
Almost yours, but never mine
