“Στο My Corner, οι The Yum Yum Tree παραδίδουν ένα κομμάτι που πάλλεται από ακατέργαστη ενέργεια. Τα φωνητικά, παιχνιδιάρικα αλλά και γεμάτα πάθος, κινούνται με μια σχεδόν άγρια ένταση—σαν ανήσυχα αιλουροειδή έτοιμα να ορμήσουν—δίνοντας από την πρώτη στιγμή την απαραίτητη ώθηση. Η ροκ μελωδία ηλεκτρίζει την ατμόσφαιρα, ενώ τα τύμπανα χτυπούν επίμονα, σαν διαρκές κάλεσμα για συναισθηματική έκρηξη. Καθώς ο ρυθμός ανεβάζει την ένταση, το τραγούδι μετατρέπεται σε μια μικρή τελετουργία εκτόνωσης, όπου η ένταση δεν καταπιέζεται αλλά απελευθερώνεται—και αυτή η απελευθέρωση μοιάζει απροσδόκητα λυτρωτική.”
