Formed in the depths of 2020, veronicavon is the brainchild of songwriters Chris Hackman (Human Barbie) and Xuan Nguyen (Xuan), who joined forces with a secret plan to stay sane and explore new horizons in bedroom pop. Hackman & Nguyen’s other projects have been featured on KCRW, Brooklyn Vegan, Spotify Editorial, Compact Cassette, and more; veronicavon adds a bewitchingly dreamy flavor to their already-enticing repertoires.

Entirely self-produced, the duo’s latest single ‘Negging’ has a distinctly lo-fi aesthetic, but with all of the addictive melodic and lyrical power of a pop favorite. In retrospect, the song describes the year 2015. A perfect year, in which the protagonist experienced a series of events that can only be understood as pure happiness and love. However, from the present perspective, when the song came to life the protagonist finds himself in a more troubled period of time, and therefore wants to be lit up by the year 2015 again.

Light Me Up Again was written by Dominik Robin and Raphael Schneider, long-term collaborators and friends that have been touring with Neo & Neo from 2016 to 2018 in Germany, Switzerland, Lebanon and Russia. The song was recorded and produced by Stefan Huber in Zürich.

Light Me Up Again is also the title of the upcoming LP, which will be released on March 11th 2022.

Anto Dust is the musical venture of Anto Cossu, musician and composer from the Italian island of Sardinia. 

After playing solo initially, Anto was joined by Antonio Perry on lead guitar duties and David Roberts on drums.

Based in London, her music received international acclaim from radio and press.

After two years break, due to the pandemic, Anto is back with a new single and a ten-track album in the making.

A Larkin is an ode to her favorite poet but also her favorite man, to whom she sings “you can call me home”. A new brand of pop, less fuzzy and chaotic, cleaner and clearer, to mark an important change in her artistic development with a song to remind us that she is ready to compete for the top spots in the indie-charts.

Beautifully crafted lyrics and ethereal vocals stand tall at the forefront of her compositions and the music, stronger than ever, stands out in the midst of the middle of the road and shallow pop music offer of today.
