Song Review: “The Impostor” by AiramFM | A Pop Discovery
Music Review:
“In “The Impostor,” AiramFM builds an ethereal sonic identity where the vocals do not merely stand out—they dominate. With a fairy-like tone, they function as the primary narrative tool, shaping the atmosphere and giving the track its distinctive character. The melody unfolds patiently, without a clear climax, creating a space where time seems to slow down. The rhythm, subtle yet controlled in its restlessness, keeps the track in a delicate balance between relaxation and alertness.Τhe track doesn’t aim to resolve its tension—it invites you to remain בתוך it, suspended between stillness and quiet motion.”

Lyrics of AiramFM – The Impostor
How do I exist
When it pains like this
Have I lost my mind
I am not okay
How do I escape
I am left confined
I’m not from this place
Can’t find my way
It’s like a maze
Trying to navigate
I float away
In outer space
Like a delusion
I disintegrate
If I escape
And run away
Will I flee from the greedy
Claws of society
Or will I fade away
It’s a lonely walk out here
It’s a little dark out here
Someone whispered in my ear
We can spot the impostor
‘Bout a mile from here
They said
You’re not from this place
So run away
You’re like a maze
Trying to navigate
Just float away
In outer space
You’re an illusion
You disintegrate
If I escape
And run away
Will I flee from the greedy
Claws of society
Or will I fade away
I et spliksekund hører jeg
En velkendt stemme
Der hvisker blidt til mig
Du hører hjemme
Du skaber dit eget liv
Din egen atmosfære
Så syng, mit barn
Du kan slet ikke lade være
If I escape
And run away
Will I flee from the greedy
Claws of society
Or will I fade away
Or will I fade away
