Following a run of massive mainstage festival performances, including Reading & Leeds Festival, TRNSMT, Neighbourhood and Latitude, this summer, Sea Girls have revealed the brand new video for their infectiously honest single ‘Sick’. Directed by Joseph Delaney (Ashnikko, HMLTD) in Hackney, the stunningly shot video sees lead singer Henry Camamile reflecting in his gloomy room on all the things that make him sick. “It was very important that this video felt real and didn’t stray from the intended feelings of frustration and repetition I was feeling in my life when this song was written,” Henry said of the video. “Being a filmmaker Joseph our Director totally felt the song’s meaning.”

A band well and truly into their stride, Homesick sees Sea Girls, Henry Camamile, Rory Young, Andrew Dawson and Oli Khan, deliver thirteen measures of guitar driven pop brilliance including 2 bonus Deluxe tracks. A deeply personal record, lead singer Henry Camamile returned to his childhood home in Lincolnshire at the wake of the pandemic, finding himself having to address and reflect on events from his past, both good and bad. A cathartic process, Henry leaves nothing to the imagination with his astute storytelling and candid lyrics. Delving into some of his darkest moments, the uplifting album comes as a sense of relief, a gratefulness for survival. Lyrically raw and packed to the brim with hooks, the band step into new realms with an added sense of maturity and a bigger ambitious sounding record.

Teaming long-term producer Larry Hibbitt with Grammy Award winning Producers Jacknife Lee, Jonny Coffer and Cass Lowe to co-produce the record, Henry reflects on the process: “Imagine us locked down in the studio in rainy Brixton working with the producers remotely on the album in California’s Topanga Canyon. That clashing of worlds is the sound of this record, the DNA. Making an album this way, remotely and 5000 miles apart, was a crazy idea and shouldn’t have worked, but it did.”

Sea Girls, one of the most exciting guitar bands to have emerged in recent times, are the torchbearers for the next wave. Delivering sing-along anthems for the masses, the band’s journey is well and truly on its way.

Lainey Dionne is a Providence based cover artist and singer/songwriter. Her debut record, Can't Refuse - EP, was released in 2016 and is available on iTunes, Spotify, and other streaming services. She writes the "sort of music that immediately makes you forget that you left a burning oven on, or should be doing something productive. Music that will make you forget about everything else and just listen" (Verge Media). Can't Refuse- EP is an honest and vulnerable look at love and life through a twenty-something singer/songwriters eyes.

Her debut album was featured on HomeBru'd, a segment for New England's leading alternative radio station, WBRU. In 2018, Lainey was nominated for Best Solo/Acoustic Act, Best Americana Act, and Best College Act at the Worcester Music Awards, along with Best Breakthrough Act at Rhode Island's famed, Motif Music Awards. She is also a 2016 Semi Finalist for the International Songwriting Competition. Laineys songs "Can't Refuse" and "Even If" have been featured in the Berklee Singer/Songwriter Showcase '14 and an independent film from Harvard University. As a performing artist, Lainey has been invited to play at famed music venues such as The Strand, regional festivals such as The Big E, PVDFest and the Newport Film Festival, private events & benefit concerts, and over 60 venues in Rhode Island. Her band toured the East Coast in the summer of 2017 debuting new material along with her EP. Originally from Smithfield, RI, she has been studying the piano since the age of six, and along the way, has picked up several other instruments including violin, ukulele, harmonica, mandolin, dulcimer, cajon, and guitar. Lainey provides private lessons of vocals and the instruments she plays at True Music Studios.

She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music in 2015, receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Music Business with a minor in Music Production and Engineering. While attending, she had the pleasure of learning from industry professionals such as Grammy Award winning producer, Jason Stokes and Grammy-nominated hit songwriter, producer, and Warner Brothers Records executive, Kara DioGuardi. She was also accepted into Warner/Chappell Publishing Group executive, Judy Stakee's Songwriting Retreat in France and is currently working with a team in Nashville for her sophomore album. Lainey's music is inspired by the lyrics and compositions of Gabrielle Aplin, Vance Joy, and The Lumineers. From her notable education and musical inspirations, Lainey has acquired her own unique sense of artistry.

Falling, at its essence is about a yearning for connection. Over the past year we have all felt disconnection; from loved ones, from nature. Written in 2020, during pandemic lockdowns Falling is my attempt to convey and counteract this sense of isolation. In order to do this I’ve incorporated natural elements into the sound design such as rain, sand, wind and even a fire crackling.

The track falling is heavy based around the piano in juxtaposition to the with super wide electronic saws synths and melodic bass throbs. I felt it was the perfect way to express such emotion, with a ’cinematic’ vastness; I wanted the listener to feel like they were floating in space euphorically.

Andi may be new on the scene but she's no rookie. Singing from the age of 6 and writing songs since 11, Andi has recently garnered nearly 1 million new Tik Tok followers since the start of the year and independently added 100,000 Spotify followers. At only 19, she has several anthemic pop smashes under her belt and is back with another hit.

"Money" is Andi holding no prisoners as she gives side eye to the silver spooners who have no self awareness. Sliding between flippant vocals and a sludgy, pre-chorus bass line, Andi goes after how money affects us all - including artists. This track will rightfully have you questioning ethical consumption while at the club.

Says Andi,

Having moved to LA at 16, I was exposed to a very toxic culture surrounding fake wealth, clout etc… As a young artist, it’s very easy to get caught up in the mix of it. Money was incredibly fun to make; it’s pretty much a diss track to the people who think they’re better than you due to their social status.

Andi's young start with music and performance is the foundation of her connection with her rapidly growing fanbase. Not only did she go the more typical route of theater camp, but rather than cover her favorite songs, she wrote parodies of them. Andi has a goal of using self-awareness to connect with her fellow teens as she charts the trials and tribulations that come with her age.
