"Rite" is an electronic variation on a sample of Stravinsky's ballet "The Rite of Spring". Between onirism and savagery, it unfolds like a meditation taking its source in the complex, haunting and implacable rhythm of the final sacrificial dance of "The Rite of Spring".

The French produser MxBG invites us to an electronic musical and visual journey, between dreaming, exaltation and nostalgia. He mixes to an exploratory techno with industrial touches his sense of orchestral colours and organic melodies.

Immersed in Beethoven’s symphonies and Wagner’s operas since childhood, MxBG was introduced to modern music via two great works: OK Computer by Radiohead and Londinium by Archive. MxBG’s carefully-crafted music reflects this wide range of inspirations and blends classical instruments with synthetisers and samples.

Fascinated by machines and their contribution to art, he develops real-time generative art algorithms that he presents in his live show articulating electronic explorations and visual experimentations.

Dunt’s second release of 2020 (from forthcoming album‘Starter Pact’) is a dusty, head-noddy collaboration with singer/ composer/ sound-designer Sam West, taking influences from Flying Lotus, Amon Tobin and JamesBlake. The track has already secured national and local radio airplay (BBC, Amazing Radio, Radio Kaos Carribou and more) and music video due for release on Thursday 3rd of December.

Columbus-based electronic artists CoastalDives and Henry Blaeser team up on Ghost II, a haunting and warm slice of electronica landing on Chile’s renowned No Problema Tapes imprint.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, CoastalDives made his musical debut with the original film score All Small Bodies, a project that explored minimalistic synth compositions contrasting harsh, brooding soundscapes. He has since released music ranging from highly evocative ambient and pulse-driven electronica to synth-heavy neo-classical. The dreamy quality of his music has attracted the attention of filmmakers, several of whom have used his work to soundtrack short films, one of which was made for Hulu and another which premiered at MOMA.

Also based in Columbus, Henry Blaeser is an eclectic record producer/vocalist, one half of experimental pop duo, .boy, and has worked with artists like La Poré, Ale Campillo & Mungbean.

After several independent releases since their split 7” vinyl release, Divey / I Stay via Terrible Cloud Records, CoastalDives and Henry Blaeser have now teamed up on Ghost II, another unpredictable twist in their catalogue, and first joint effort for vaporwave’s reputable No Problema Tapes.

Dense, dark and intricate, Ghost II merges Blaeser’s cold, skeletal rhythmic & textural architecture with CoastalDives’ all-encompassing, haunting synth-scapes.

Camille Murray is Bost’s new project, that explores a mix of dub & electro music. Bost is a well-known reggae producer, Grammy winner for Morgan Heritage’s « Strictly Roots » in 2016 and also producer of Chronixx’s « Skankin Sweet ». His new track is called « Amnesia Love », and for the first the time, you can hear him sing through a vocoder, bringing a french touch at this kind of electro-rocksteady never heard before, with a lot of synthetizers, a kete drum and a moog solo !

Sleep Walking is the second collaboration with Green Valdener for UK alternative artist Jaayns and follows their 2017 collaboration The Wrong Ones. Set within an ambient soundscape, this new collaboration explores the space of unconsciously being aware of how our life impacts on the world around us and how we are being unconsciously impacted by other people decisions and actions every day in return. Is it easier to stay asleep than put off dealing with the consequences of our actions?

Green Valdeners production is dreamy dark and epically chilled with a driving force which never quite provides the listener with resolution as it builds, pulls and falls away, yet is deeply pleasant to listen to. With a signature style that references back to their 2017 collaboration ‘The Wrong Ones’ this is a much more developed sound from Valdener.
