“This song is similar to a desperate shout cry, which like the rays of the sun makes himself to the listener through the created images. Melody FOLK ROCK incredible beauty, singing acoustic guitar and a huge variety of tool filling. Frank vocals and philosophical text will help you think about important things. (Automatically Translated with Google Translate)”

“Эта песня похожа на отчаянный крик души, который словно лучи солнца пробивается к слушателю через созданные образы. Мелодия Folk Rock невероятной красоты, пение акустической гитары и огромное разнообразие инструментальной начинки. Откровенный вокал и философский текст помогут задуматься о важных вещах.”

“Chasing” casts a dreamy hue with guitar droning out downcast chords shrouded in icy synth tones. Lyrically the song explores life in an always-on society: “Try hard to understand but got no time to waste. Devil on my heels, quicken the pace. Always chasing another end. Never stop, never begin.” The band had been stuck inside during the frozen Rochester winter and decided to go on a late-night stroll. Walking through the windy streets and snowfall they found themselves lying down, looking at the stars and taking in the still night. They wrote the song immediately upon arriving back home.

“Falling Falling Down” by “Saven” is an alt-country / indie rock song. The song is about taking the wrong path without really fully understand why. It is about being in a unhealthy situation and trying to bring the unconscious reasons for your decisions to your awareness. The music and lyrics present a struggle and fall within oneself. One between sticking to a rewarding and self-fulfilling path and being enticed and distracted from it.

As the tones from the acoustic guitar slide down the neck of the guitar, it completely matches the sentiment of the song. Actually everything about the song: the guitar riff, the heavy vocals, the steel-stringed slide guitar and the drums, draws you in. The ebb and flow of the arrangement is captivating and leaves you utterly enchanted as the song finally reaches a crescendo of emotional rock magic.

This track conveys a feeling of despair, fear and avoidance. In a sense it feels like a mix between a cry for help and hopelessness. If you can relate with the lyrics: “no God will save me”, that “Heaven is fading” and that you are “Falling Falling Down” perhaps this song is for you. https://www.facebook.com/savenmusic/

While it is a brand new release it was actually written a few years ago in a very tough time of burnout from a lot of life's pressures. This song was a part of learning to step back and gaining relief. Bolton's 15 song album is coming in September 2022.

Two Late To The Party – Love After The Pain

Two Late To The Party – Love After The Pain
(Spotify)

“Things are getting serious in the world of Folk rock as this single communicates its important message. The singing duo underlines the importance of love, which comes after we overcome many problems or even painful situations. Soothing work, with the positive spirit we always need to go on in this life.”

-Nagamag.com

Artist said about this song:

"Our new track, “Love After The Pain” is an up-tempo duet about being in the moment and the realization that no matter the challenges we face that on the other side there is always love.

What inspired us when we were writing “Love After The Pain” was the realization that to get to those moments of joy in our life we tend to have to go through some challenges and learn some things along the way to get there, and that it’s not always easy but it’s always worth it. We wanted this song to convey hope, that at the end of it all, there is always a light at the end.

Originally “Love After The Pain” was a much slower song but once we got in the studio it felt like it was missing something, that music didn’t match the story of hope. So we upped the tempo and it really catched the vibe we wanted, especially the ending which we viewed as this euphoric moment of just getting past the pain to the love.

One fun aspect of recording this song was us revisiting our junior high school band days and getting out our old trombone and flute out to build out a bit of horn section, we were both rusty but had a blast reconnecting with our musical past and bringing it into the present, overall this song allowed us to really kick loose and have some fun."
