LA-based Natalie Nicole Gilbert's career has included collaborations with film composers and musicians of a wide array of genres ranging from EDM to classic jazz to alt pop rock.

Today, Gilbert is a voting member of the Recording Academy with 14 solo albums and an additional 17 singles to her credit. In addition to her music, she has more than 10 years in broadcast radio as a radio host and voiceover talent, and has done national commercials for McDonalds, Cadillac, Quiznos, and other well-known brands. She built her home recording studio in 2005 when it was still a relatively new practice, and continues to produce and co-produce her own music. Gilbert is also a session vocalist for the Dublin Studio Hub, and film and TV composer with Music + Pictures, whose credits include Law and Order, The Office, and many others worldwide. During the pandemic she has created a series of cover albums with her signature soulful sound, alongside new originals and remastered fan favorites.

Nathan Wiley returns with 6 song EP, Modern Magic.

His most collaborative recording yet, Modern Magic features members of Halifax R&B institution the Mellotones, as well as appearances by Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), Ed Toth (The Doobie Brothers), Rob Crowell (Deer Tick), and many others.

"I never want to make the same record twice, and I started hearing this sound in my head that was less about guitars, and more about synths and horns," said Nathan Wiley (he/him). "I was lucky enough to work with some musical friends that I've made throughout my career on this new record and I couldn't be happier with the experience."

Focus track “Heatseeker” is the story of a harmless crush on a teacher through the eyes of a young boy. The horn intro and sparse drums open the EP, and help set the tone sonically for the musical direction of the recording.

"Some of this is me in elementary school,” said Wiley. “My school seemed rough and dangerous, like a whole new world. The melody came first, and when the words started coming out, this teacher character that all the kids made up stories about appeared."

Recorded between Halifax, NS and Summerside, PE, the new recording explores themes like magic, love, lust and narcissism. Modern Magic is out now on all platforms.

London based singer/songwriter Fox Jackson has been enamoured by music from as young as he can remember. Inspired by the likes of artists such as Earth Wind and Fire, Prince and Pharrell Williams, his music blends funk-fuelled melodies, sexy vocals and dance-worthy beats, creating a vibrant and distinct sound which is undeniably his own.

His career in the entertainment industry began at just 11 years old, when he landed the lead role as Billy Elliot, in the hit West End musical, "Billy Elliot the Musical". His time there solidified his desire to be on stage, while also pushing him to dive deeper into the world of music. Following multiple roles on both stage and TV, Fox soon made an easy transition to his first love and true calling, music. He stood in his authenticity by showing students that is was possible to mix academic astuteness with artistic disposition. He is an educator; scholar; musician; producer; songwriter; emcee; artist, and an active member of his community that has worked with and encouraged youth in various outreach programs throughout Nashville, Tennessee. His is also the leader of the band MD and Cobalt Blue who present a dynamic blend of reggae, hip-hop and soul.

What you hear most often from MD as an emcee are honest, creative and reflective lyrics. In his production you'll hear sample free live music, real instruments, that 95% of the time he is playing. Taking the “falling” part literal the video blurs the line between reality and fantasy.
