Lyrics of jbradford – Back to Real LIfe
Will you miss the skyline of Austin? We tried so hard to make this town our home Its buildings burn so bright in the golden Texas light But blacktop’s not the same as a red dirt road
Let’s ditch this city Let’s ditch this city Let’s go back home to real life When our boots touch down on fertile ground Welcome home we’re alright Welcome home to real life Back to real life Back to real life
Livin’ high gives fear of falling I’m too low to be enough for you This check ain’t worth the price Oh wouldn’t it be nice Just to get back to the garden with you
Let’s ditch this city Let’s ditch this city Let’s go back home to real life When our boots touch down on fertile ground Welcome home we’re alright Welcome home to real life Back to real Life Back to real Life
This plastic city pains me But our country ways sustain me There’s no need to be alone They’ll always welcome us home to real life
Let’s ditch this city Let’s ditch this city Let’s go back home to real life When our boots touch down on fertile ground Welcome home we’re alright Welcome home to real life Back to real Life Back to real Life Back to real Life Back to real Life

Lyrics of Dave Murphy – October Skies
October Skies (feat. James Maddock)
There is a place where we can go Not far away, we’re not alone Where we first met, in early fall October skies, you sang along
Over the bridge, to the battlefield It draws me in, the sacred wheel In a field of dreams, where young men died Lying still, (looking up) October skies
Darlin’ there’s still time, to break the ties that bind We’ve come so far, it’s written in the stars
There is a voice from far away A mystery wind in whispering days Still sometimes, it’s not enough But October skies, they fill me up
You know it strips me raw, exposing skin and scars The choices I have made, taking the hardest way
Over the bridge, to the battlefield It draws me in, the scared wheel In a field of dreams, where young men died Lying still, (looking up) October skies
Lying still, (looking up) October skies
Lying still, (looking up) October skies

Lyrics of Lisha Sebastian – BF(N)F
You don’t have to turn your face away When you see me walk the other way You don’t have to take a different road When you see me from the distant crossroad A smile doesn’t hurt We’ll never be how we once were But a smile doesn’t hurt You know that rainbows don’t last forever Maybe we’re both confused We don’t know what to do This mess left us both bruised We gotta pick ourselves up from the blue
Thank you for the memories I’ll hold onto them forever I thought I found the missing keys And I thought you’d be forever But I guess life plays its course And there’s nothing you can do I really thought I found the one I really thought I found the one
You don’t have to pretend That I don’t exist And you don’t have to play the game Where the winner takes it all There could be an in-between Where we could live in peace We’ve come a long way Don’t throw it all away Maybe we’re both confused We don’t know what to do This mess left us both bruised We gotta pick ourselves up from the blue
Thank you for the memories I’ll hold onto them forever I thought I found the missing keys And I thought you’d be forever But I guess life plays its course And there’s nothing you can do I really thought I found the one Really thought I found the one Best friends forever Best friends forever We were best friends But just not forever Thank you for the memories I’ll hold onto them forever I thought I found the missing keys And I thought you’d be forever But I guess life plays its course And there’s nothing you can do I really thought I found the one Really thought I found the one

Lyrics of Gus Reeves & The Petty Thieves – Hazy
He woke up in a haze Stumbled through a maze Tried to figure out what crazyness Happened last night He slapped his face and shook his head Fell back down upon the bed And convinced himself every- Thing was alright
Just a night of wandering around One more night stuck in this town
His head is noisy when he tries to think Dirty laundry and a full sink Any day now he’ll be on the brink Of doing something worthwhile Moving forward and moving on The thought appears and then it’s gone Is it dusk or is it dawn? Another day in exile
Nighttime awaits in this town Around and around and around.
He’s gotta hurry and get ready To do nothing tonight And tomorrow will be more of the same No more big plans His future was bright There’s got to be someone to blame
He may have had one too many He had 10 if he had any Either way he had plenty But what else is new Every morning is a fresh start Another chance to fall apart It’s kinda like a work of art It depends on your view
Nighttime looms in this town Around and around and around
He’s gotta hurry and get ready To do nothing tonight And tomorrow will be more of the same No more big plans His future was bright There’s got to be someone to blame
White noise from the tv He’s gonna get up on the count of 3 But part of him does not agree It’s always easier to stay down He stares at nothing out the window Wonders “where did all the time go?” And just like that….the final blow He’s gotta turn things around
He’s wasting his time in this town Time to start looking around
He’s gotta get up and get out Get up and get out Gotta figure it all out Gotta get up and get out Gotta figure it all out Gotta get up Get up And get out
