“Neon Lights” by Jeremy Grey | Rock Song Review

Music Review:

Lyrics of Jeremy Grey – Neon Lights

Rock and Rolled
And I didn’t let it knock me down
You see I miss the days
We played in them small towns

Something about city hustle
And them neon lights
Make me appreciate the choices
I made in life

And I – I’ve been around
I’ve seen the sun come up
And I’ve watched it go down

I said hey (Hey)
Let’s get up back on that highway
Hey (Hey)
To the neon lights
We’re gonna drink (Hey)
And cheers to this Friday
Make a little love on Saturday night
(Hey, Hey, Hey)

Well you see I
Turned the page and
I walked that fine line
I’m simply sitting here
And drinking cheap wine

Something about city hustle
And them neon lights
Make me appreciate the choices
I made in life
And I’m working hard
on getting it right

You see, I – well I’ve been around
I’ve seen the sun come up
And I’ve watched it go down.

I said hey (Hey)
Let’s get up back on that highway
Hey (Hey)
To the neon lights
We’re gonna drink (Hey)
And cheers to this Friday
Make a little love on Saturday night

I said hey (Hey)
Let’s get up back on that highway
Hey (Hey)
To the neon lights
We’re gonna drink (Hey)
And cheers to this Friday
Make a little love on Saturday night
(Hey Hey Hey)

I said hey (Hey)
Let’s get back on that highway
Hey (Hey)
To the neon lights
We’re gonna drink (Hey)
And cheers to this Friday
Make a little love on Saturday night
