Benzio Music is an artist and songwriter with a focus on creating excellent EDM tracks with a modern sound, inspired by artists such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, Martin Garrix or David Guetta, only to mention but a few. Recently, the producer started a Youtube channel, with the goal of posting EDM remixes.

He set out to post a new track every week, giving the audience tons of fun and unique vibes with that energy that you would expect from the top producers on the scene today. The remixes are highly energetic, staying true to the original vibe of the main mixes, but adding more to the sonic legacy of the experiments. The quality of the production is top-notch, with big, powerful bass tones and lush melodies that make the remixes all the more fun and enjoyable, giving a different spin to the original tracks while also.

This is the key piece for the forthcoming album ‘Stories in Slow Light. It was inspired by a photograph taken by Helena Whitten at Poltimore House in Devon which depicts a solitary figure in front of an oval frame where a mirror used to be.

The track evokes the memory of our ancestors and imagines all the living souls who have passed in front of the now long gone mirror. The protagonist appears to be channelling these spirits out of the ancient walls of the house, at times contorted by the energy flowing through her and then flowing with serenity.

The piece was recorded at Swallow Studios in Smallwood and features members of the string section of the Northern Film Orchestra. The strings shift from tight pizzicato motifs to sweeping legato passages building to a crescendo of ancient harmonies fought out between the cello, viola and violin performers. In the closing bars, a kind of peace is finally restored.

The video for was shot on location at Poltimore House but this time dancer and choreographer Kristine Berget reprises Helena’s role from the photograph and we follow her as she moves around the rooms and hallways of the crumbling mansion.

Growing up in the small town of Walterboro South Carolina, Chad Nathan known by his artist name “Chad!” would begin his music journey as early as 2015 at the age of 14. His first musical endeavor would be putting short clips of his freestyle raps on YouTube. After about 2 years of posting his raps he took a hiatus and never considered making music again….That is until 2019, with a new drive and motivation he would begin making beats, which was something he was inspired to do by his cousin and fellow artist Insvmniv. After posting his beats on SoundCloud with very little attention he would become discouraged and almost quit once again. After graduating from high school in 2020 Chad would begin working and living a simple life with creating music being the last thing on his mind, but over time he would become bored of the same old routines and would begin to explore his old passion once again. Inspired by soulful voices such as Bryson Tiller and Michael Jackson, as well as modern icons like Drake and Lil Baby, Chad finally found his lane as a producer and would begin collaborating with various up and coming artists. Chad considers his self more of an executive producer than anything, looking to push creative boundaries and put together artists and producers in the ways such as DJ Khaled has. Chad has a true passion for music and no matter how many times he’s tried to walk away from it his love for the game always brings him back, and he’s here to stay.
