Neo Pacifica Recordings announces the release today of a new single by iconic instrumentalists Diane Arkenstone and David Arkenstone. Titled “She Reigns Through Tears,” the track is taken from a forthcoming album, Avalon: Between The Earth And Sky, which is a follow up to their classic album Avalon: A Celtic Legend. The magical, fully orchestrated track produced by both, features Diane on guitar and vocalizations and David on keyboards, guitar, mandolin, penny whistle and programming. Accompanying them is Luanne Homzy on violin and viola.

The highly imaginative fantasy narrative of Avalon is continued on the new single, but from a feminine point of view. They note: “’She Reigns Through Tears’ represents the Queen's old life being torn from her, yet as Queen, she has the responsibility to carry on. Behind the crown she wears a stoic face and hides a saddened heart, while deep inside a powerful change is being born.”

Following her recent single, “Dark,” SHEAL is revealing a new, melodic piano-led ballad.

“‘Gravity’ is about what it’s like when you choose to love someone in spite of hurt and difference,” the artist explains. “Rather than running away from tenuous relationships, holding space for the other person to be themselves with all their flaws and beauty.”

While her previous single explores the experience of fear shrinking one’s inner world, “Gravity” charts its expansion through love.

The ladies of Krewella make a strong return to the scene with their new original release – “Never Been Hurt,” in collaboration with the Asian-American duo BEAUZ. The sisters take an exploratory approach to their traditionally hard-hitting sound with a pop and deep house style on the track, which begins with a groovy and yet grimy bassline reminiscent of UK garage sounds. The subtler melodies let the song’s vocals shine through as Krewella brings their A-game with sultry lyrics and a distorted vocal chorus. Krewella’s previous independent single was “Rewind” with Yellow Claw in July of 2020, though they also collaborated with Illenium and SLANDER on “Lay It Down” as a part of Illenium’s album.
