Review: Valerio Marino – Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words) | A Jazz Discovery

“Valerio Marin’s “Fly Me to the Moon (In Other Words)” unfolds with a liberating ease, its melody washing over the listener in waves of unadulterated joy. There’s an irresistible lightness to the arrangement, a buoyancy that makes happiness feel less like an aspiration than a state of being. The vocals elevate the track with their vivid expressiveness and crystalline timbre, tracing each phrase with a clarity that feels almost tactile. Meanwhile, the rhythm keeps everything in graceful motion, inviting the body to follow without resistance. ”
